Captain America walks into a hotel room and finds Stark getting it on with his girl.

Stark: "Well this is awkward...." (Thinks for a second) "...We're putting together a team."

Towards the end of the movie, after the big threat is defeated, The Hulk leaves The Avengers in frustration, as he feels no one trusts him.

After the credits! The Hulk (or Bruce Banner) walks sullenly down a lonely country road, when a regal voice says; "Mr Banner, may I have a moment?"

Hulk/Banner turns, curiously, as the voice continues; "I understand you have left The Avengers, because they treated you badly. But don't let this one experience turn you against the idea of working with others."

The speaker is revealed as DOCTOR STRANGE, who says; "I have a few ideas about a team of my own."

After the threat has been defeated and the Avengers have disassembled, the glow of a small screen is seen in a darkened room on the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier. As the camera slowly makes its way into the room a strange, deep voice can be heard.

"Report. What is the status of your mission?"

"The Tesseract has been destroyed, Supremor. The humans decided that was their only choice to avert the destruction of their world."

"You were to secure the device and deliver it to Hala. You have failed me."

"I concurred with the humans in this, my lord. Had they not destroyed it our enemies would have captured it and used it to tip the scales in the war in their favor."

"Unacceptable, Pluskommander. Had you succeeded in your mission we would now be laying waste to their throneworld. Your orders were to obtain the Tesseract even if it meant destroying Earth. Your....affection for these inferior beings made you reluctant to take the it by force. You are weak."

[Alarmed and repulsed]"Destroying the planet would have been a mistake, Supremor! These beings are highly advanced and could become an asset to the Empire. We should try to recruit them -"

"Silence! Pluskommander Mahr-Vehl, it is clear that you have betrayed the Supreme Intelligence of the Kree. Your failure must be punished. Await the judgment of your Accuser!"

The camera swings behind a floating communicator screen to reveal Agent Coulson, his face bathed in an strange blue light....

If there's any post-credits scenne i hope it's a funny one, not another lead in to a sequel, avengers is supposed to end the first wave of marvel studios movies, the 2nd one starts in 2013 with Iron man 3

A helicoptor is shown approaching the Helicarrier.

Cut to Nick Fury, with Agent Coulson, on the landing area watching it's appraoch.

The helicoptor lands and Nick Fury walks towards it.

A man and a woman, carrying small baggage, exit the helicoptor and walk towards Fury.

When they meet Nick Fury extends his hand and says: "Dr. Pym and Miss Van Dyne, welcome to SHIELD."

We see the Cosmic Cube safely in SHIELD's headquarters. All of a sudden, the Cube opens and a bright blue light covers the screen. We see a silhouette of a human walk up the screen. The light goes away revealing the Red Skull staring at the audience.

The idea of the camera pulling back out of the screen and showing Deadpool watching it in the theater, maybe giving a round of applause is pretty awesome. But alas, will never happen.

New York Hospital, regular day not really that busy.

Suddenly there is a loud voice over a speaker system saying any spare medical staff need to leave the premises and head towards (wherever the large battle of The Avengers takes place).

One Doctor is lounging in his office when he hears the call. He reluctantly gets up and throws his coat over his shoulder like a cape.

We see the man driving fast down a busy street, people are running and screaming. Suddenly the Doctor's attention is caught by flashes of colours to his left, he sees The Avengers fighting the 'threat'.

The Doc turns his attention back to the street to see he is about to collide with a woman and child running out into the street. He slams on the brakes and the car flips.

-fade to black-

we see the aftermath, his hands are crumpled he cannot move them he lets out a scream before he passes out.

-fade to black-

Months later appears on the screen...

we see the familiar face of the Doctor with his eyes shut. As the camera retreats we see he is sat in a meditative stance, floating. His eyes open. -Black-

Fairly lengthy but i'd love to see this battle be the catalyst for the creation of Dr. Strange.

The team is entering Stark's pad to unwind. The lights are out, and JARVIS has been disabled. They ask what's going on. Nick Fury steps out from the shadows, and says:

"I'm here to talk to you about the Avenger Initiative."

Stark: "Dude, we've been doing this for a couple of weeks already."

Fury: "In that case, who wants to do jello shots?"

 

[Spider-Vader]

A giant spaceship is seen. The film cuts to a computer screen playing clips of The Avengers fighting the alien invasion. It then cuts to Thanos who has a huge grin on his face, Thanos lets out an evil laugh & leans back in his throne.
