As far as the Lizard, off the top of my head:
There's his origin, ASM #6 I think.
Lizard I think is involved in the Tablet of Time storyline around ASM #74 which was interesting, if not Lizard centric.
He was also involved in the six-armed Spider-Man with Morbius, ASM #101-102, which were fun.
And though some will disagree, I enjoyed issues #1-5 of the adjective-less Spider-Man, you know the one started by Todd MacFarlane?
Those were Lizard stories I enjoyed.
