I love that song too, but my favorite from both films would be 'Come and Get Your Love' by Redbone.

Interesting that two songs from this movie sound like they ripped off melodies from other songs.

The most famous is of course My Sweet Lord that resulted in George Harrison having to pay royalites to the owners of He's So Fine.

But while Come a Little Bit Closer was playing, I couldn't help humming La Bamba....pretty much the same melody.
