What are they fools?
5 films you would LOVE to see, but feel will never happen.

Mine are-

1) Kill! Kill! Pussycat Faster

-Sequel to Russ Meyer's seminal 1966 film- Faster Pussycat Kill! Kill!.
The title in reverse- KKPF was originally intended as a belated sequel in the 90's but the project never got off the ground. I reckon Jennifer Tilly would be great in the lead role, at least on a visual level.

2) Robocop 4

-Despite what anyone here says, Robo is a great character and if a film was in the right hands. we could easily see another great film.

3) Gremlins 3! -No CGI, keep it puppets.

4) Boogie Nights 2 -This was planned a while back, but has yet to get off the ground.

5) Maniac 2- Sequel to one of the greatest ever scary films from the eighties, if you have not seen it go watch Maniac, it will blow you away. They would need to get a new lead as Joe Spinell is now dead,
but they could keep the same production team and get someone who looks like him.
I would like it..

The only one I can think of right now is Tom Clancy's Without Remorse. Not a toned down version either, I want badass, sadistic John Kelly/Clark, maybe leave out the secret military operation, just a straight no holds barred revenge story. Would have to be rated R.

In recent years I have learned that almost everything will become a movie some day.

I could agree with RoboCop 4 there Dangerous, but I think it'll end up as a remake, which I'm fine with as well.

This is all kind of comic-centric, I don't read much fiction beyond comics. These would likely never happen due to license issues with the multiple characters, financial and for the last one, obscurity :D

- The Ultimates volume 1 and volume 2 - Two movies shot at the same time basically chronicling the fall and eventual redemption of Dr. Bruce Banner through the actions of the Ultimates on the world stage.

- The Hulk vs. The Thing - Black comedy of sorts with plenty of skull bashing fun, them going at it at the beginning then maybe joining up at the last minute, maybe even using the Mr. Fixit hulk.

- Kingdom Come - Self explanatory

- Serenity 2 - But too many died :(

- Tom Strong - Though this license might work better as a tv show-serial.

Good idea.

I want a movie about the Battle of Kursk in 1943. It contained the largest armored engagement in history. It would be extremely expensive and logistically nearly impossible to film. But it would be an incredible movie.

I'd also like to see a movie about Otto Skorzeny. He was basically the Nazi version of James Bond. Despite the fact that he was a Nazi, he had a fascinating life.

1) Shadow of the Colossus, either a live-action directed by Guillermo Del Toro, or an anime by Hayao Miyazaki

2) Brian K. Vaughan's Runaways, directed by Robert Rodriguez

3) Bryan Singer's X-Men 3

4) A sequel to Shane Black's Kiss Kiss Bang Bang

5) Quentin Tarantino's Casino Royale, starring Pierce Brosnan

Agreed!

My friend and I want a film on Otto so bad...and my friend is actually trying to write a script for it.

Patriot Games was R so I don't know why Paramont would tone it down.

Really? How is that going?

I can't imagine how hard it would be to even try and suggest a movie being made about a Nazi commando.

I'd also like to see a movie about the assassination of Reinhardt Heydrich. I think there may already be a movie, but a modern take would be amazing.

A Metal Gear Solid movie by James Cameron

Serenity 2,i just want more of those characters

A Boba Fett prequel showing his life as a bounty hunter directed by Spielberg

Dino Crisis the movie-i thought the first game was awesome and would make for a kickass movie

M.A.S.K.-i loved that toon but it's to obscure to ever get a movie,at this rate it's gonna take TF being a hit just to get Gi Joe made

1. Tim Burton's third Batman film, with Michael Keaton, Michelle Pfeiffer, Michael Gough (Bruce would be looking after him now), Pat Hingle as a retired Commisioner. Obviously it would take place about fifteen years after Returns (ignoring Schumacher's movies), and be somewhat Dark Knight Returns-esque, but more gothic. It would begin with the despair of Returns, but end with the euphoria and triumph of the end of the '89 movie.

2. James Cameron superhero movie. I almost don't care which one it is. Give him Green Lantern, Thor, Wolverine, the result will be the same.

No real order:

1. Burton's third Batman
2. Singer's X3
3. Worlds Finest moive
4. Star Wars 7,8,9
5. I don't know, I'll come back to it.

Edit: Sorry, I kinda interrupted your list...

I don't think it was ever "planned" by anyone other than fans. I've read PTA address the rumors with clear dismissal.

If there's one sequal to a great 90's counterculture movie I'd love to have seen it's Half Baked 2.

Also at the end of the Super Mario Brothers movie they clearly were intending for a sequel and despite everything bad about it I would have liked to see them try. And I would have been ok with recasts of pretty much everyone except for Samantha Mathis.

If there was a Super Mario II, I'd like to see them take a different approach. The original film attempted to find logical reasons for all the crazy things in the Super Mario universe, where the makers of the games were just coming up with crazy ideas for a platform game without any logic behind it. A sequel should just abandon this and go crazy.
