Snyder cut fans deserve to get respect put on their name now.

If anyone gets the urge to be negative about this just remember that this is a win for fans everywhere, because it sets a precedent now that says YES, you do have a say and yes YOU CAN make a studio listen to the cost of their own pocket.

It's massive really, I've never seen anything like it.

For the record, we Browncoats got a major studio to pony up $40mil for a movie to be made from scratch 17 years ago! :argh: :oldrazz:

What a historic day. The fans really did make this happen. And this is a win for everyone. This movie is going to be TRENDING for months and giving HBO Max a lot of buzz.

And not for nothing but i think we should also pat ourselves on the back for keeping this forum alive.

Just double checking but it's been confirmed that he's not releasing this in black and white color format right? Between the photos that he's shared and how it was stated that he showed a "black and white" edition to the executives just wanted to make sure that we are still getting this in color format.

My emotions is kind of mixed on this one. Happy for Snyder, and fans of DC..... but there were a small portions of the Snyder's fan base that were nasty as hell towards Reeves, Gunn and anybody who supports The Batman, and the rebooted SS. I hope today's news will stop that crap.
They dwell on Twitter, and I'm afraid to say their attitude won't change.

That being said, it's best not to let them ruin one's excitement for it. I'm happy for Snyder and the non-toxic fans that have supported the movement. This is amazingly unprecedented.

Just to be clear, is it post production or will actors reshoot certain scenes????

The article I saw said that they might be bringing the actors back for some ADR, but not full-on reshoots. My guess is that the stuff that needs polishing is primarily action scenes that are mainly VFX and doubles anyway.

It is pretty wild that this forum has remained so active up to this point. It was meant to be.

Also think it's important for us to remember that as fans, we have a real power and responsibility to wield it properly. Protect artistic integrity, even if it's not what you would've wanted. Use your platform to spread awareness/raise money for charitable causes. Let's help and be kind to one another, folks.

my only problem with zack snyder is why does he always need 3-4 hours to tell a story

watchmen ultimate cut - 3h 35m
bvs ultimate edition - 3h 3m

now we haring this is gonna be 3-4 hours long lol

This is so funny. Why would you make such an absolute statement about something that you clearly have no idea about?
I somehow doubt they didnt know.
There were TONS OF articles on SreenRant & Collider literally confirming the Snyder Cut exists.

It was pretty clear that the cut existed with half done CGI. It had a picture lock.
Numerous cast and crew confirmed Snyder had SHOT all he wanted to shoot.

The correct stance would be "The cut exists but WB wont put the money to finish the CGI or make reshoots and there is little to none chance we ll ever see it"...

...but for some reason they adopted this "it doesnt exist" stance which is hilarious.

This is the one instance where the TC Justice League could have been longer than two hours at least, though. :funny:

You guys also got to think of the latest success of Jordans "The Last Dance". It's huge and so will the SC! Lovin it. So many emotions coming to the forefront.

That's an impressive compilation. Two thoughts came to mind
a) Thank Christ that Collider show is toast.
b) Is it a thing amongst these rent-a-mouths where the less they know about a subject, the more likely it is they surround themselves with merchandise in the background or wear comic book T-shirts to basically say "please believe me!"

Having said that, prepare yourself for plenty of revisionist claims that what they really meant by saying there's no Snyder cut is that Zack didn't get to film his original plans.

This is just crazy guys and gals I still can’t quite believe it is happening and being from the UK I don’t know how in the hell I will watch it but at least I know I will at some point!

Can we also put to bed of bad blood between Henry and Zack? Henry was Zack's secret weapon in announcing this thing. How appropriate that it's his Superman, who started it all, to do so!

Praise the bald man.

The BvS/JL forum crew has been going strong for years

I’m just lazy and don’t always feel like posting in other areas of the board unless some really big news drops, but I’ll pat myself on the back nevertheless!

You see, I am torn, Zack loves the lore, the universe the characters...his head probably has this amazing movie and in his mind he sees the connective tissue and the spin offs and side stories and when he stands back it, unshackled, its this amazing project. From the open kara pod, to swanick, to batman and luthor etc...

But, wether it be studio interference or just poor directing, it didn't happen, with 3 attempts and a lot of money.

However, his ideas presented to another director, Jenkins for WW and Wan for AM faired a lot, lot better - the box office and reviews show this. I mean, AM making more than MOS, who would have thought.

My suggestion... if this Snyder cut gets praise, which I hope it does otherwise what will it be for? is to have Snyder involved, like he was with AM and WW and helping a MOS2 get off the ground and have the dceu carry on via the streaming service and primarily.

Nah, dude. We're simply finally getting the third chapter in Snyder's trilogy, and the Justice League movie he shot. Let's be happy about that and accept it as the worthy finale we never got. It's one movie, which finally gets its Director's Cut.
