Sandman is a classic Spidey villian. The problem is Raimi making him into some kind of sympathetic anti-hero.

Either Sandman or Venom had to go. Neither character got the proper attention he deserved. The movie could have potentially been so much better if the focus was on just one of them.

Really seemed like they bit off more then they could chew.

(Dancing Parker is too obvious of a choice - That was vomit inducing)

Let's just say that Raimi grabbed you out of a crowd, asking you just one thing (*and only "one" thing*) you would have liked him to of changed for Spider-Man 3??

Venom.... without a shadow of a doubt. The character and his alter ego, Eddie Brock, is now ruin. Sam should have kick Avi in the balls and said "NO... I'm doing it my way". Than use SM3 to develop Classic Eddie for a potential appearance in a future film, much like how Dr. Connors is apparently being handled.

My one choice would be to get rid of all the unnecessary extras with their obnoxious gasping and ******ed one-liners. Other than that the movie was fine.

No, for some reason the symbiote counts as a villain so that's why I said 1/2 because the symbiote and Venom are basically the same villain.

Just think about how much betterthis could have been if they 1) Got rid of Venom 2) Introduced Eddie Brock and started developing the character and 3) Had Sandman as the loan villian.

I had some problems with how Sandman was handled, but I think the movie would have been that much better.

I would change a couple of things:
- more character development for Eddie Brock
- Less dancing, singing and pointing
- Spidey should crack more jokes
- Leave out the new Green Goblin
- More dark Peter
- Add the white stripes on the hands of the black Spidey suite t:
- Venom should have said "we" instead of "i"
