"1" Change You'd Make For Spidey 3!

one change I would make is, drop venom and devote all that energy into the goblin expanding on his character.

The one changes that needed to be made is to drop Sandman from the movie.
This isn't just what I would have liked to see, but the reason the movie sucked was because there was way too much **** going on and there wasn't enough time to focus on each storyline.

By eliminating Sandman entirely, it would allow more time to develop the symbiote storyline, and really show the effects of the suit, as well as adding much more build-up for the eventual appearance of Venom. At the same time, Harry's subplot as the New Goblin could have greatly been expanded on and would have been soooo much more effective.

But having Sandman in the movie was just too much, and the only reason he was in the movie was to 1) sell more toys and 2) thrown in more action. It would have been better because he was barely in the movie as it was and his origin was so uninteresting. He would pop up for a second, look at his locket with his daughter's picture, and then disappear for a whole chunk of the movie, only to return for the next action scene. With him gone, Harry could have been a much more convincing villain, and Venom could have turned out much better as well.

The number one change I would've made if Sam Raimi asked me?

I would punch him in the throat for even thinking to release this God-awful movie and make him go back and write an entirely different script that'll put this movie on par with the previous two installments.

They could of made Eddie Brock's father the one who actually killed Peter's Uncle Ben,instead of Sandman(leave Sandman out of the movie).Then black spidey would somehow kill Eddie Brock's father,and when Eddie gets the symbiote,the symbiote would show Eddie what Peter/spidey did to Eddie's father,making Venom seek his revenge.

I would have made the symbiote darker. Simple as that. Nothing else really bothered me about the movie except for that. Just watchiing it, while it was the most entertaining thing about the film, I wanted its dark influence on Parker to be more apparent, not just checking girls otu on the street and dancing in a nightclub. That wasn't what the trailers suggested and certainly wasn't what Raimi wanted. Just browse some boards long enough and you'll find LISTS of deleted scenes that futher enhanced the darkness of the symbiote and everything about this movie.
