10.5 - Isis - Discussion Thread (Spoilers)

LOL, yeah I don't think we'll be seeing anything top Homecoming for a while because it was just that good. But hopefully, I'm wrong.

I think the next great episode that everyone will love will be the series finale.

I'm hoping that the producers really up their game towards the end where the last five episodes or so are just consistently amazing.

The only thing I don't think I'm going to like about the finale is that I'm pretty sure they're going to do things that are going to make me wanting more SV, which is only going to leave me disappointed in the fact that after the finale, there won't be anymore SV around. I really hope they do go all out though.

Err if there'll be something else after SV it obviously won't be named SV lol.

I can't wait for Clark to tell her and then she'll be like "I know" and he'll be like "YOU DO!? Why didn't you tell me? I can't TRUST YOUUU!"

And then they break up. :p

Get this gal a cookie:p:woot:

Lana knew about as much as Lois knows now, before Clark told her, and he didn't react that way...

Not every episode has to be a big episode. I am sure this one will have some good moments in it. Also I am sure the aquaman, blue beetle/booster gold and a few other episodes will be big ones for the season.

"Patriot" is the next most anticipated episode for me. But I'm sure there will be more along the way!

That too. :cwink:

Yup we just have to hope the story turns out well and continues te seasons overall arch.

One of the biggest questions about numero 200 is why Clark didn't just reveal his true identity in the barn.
(Spoiler Alert! Clark will tell Lois that he's the Blur in this week's episode. Yay!)

"There are two big things: Does Clark just tell her he loves her, or does he say I love you and I'm the Blur?" Brian told reporters. "He's got a lot of things to lay out. And we really wanted to focus on the emotion of this moment, and leave whether he's Superman or not aside. The important thing after his journey was saying that he loved her, and reassuring her of his feelings."

"Lois is such a big part of his future," adds Kelly. "We wanted a moment that really shined a light on the fact that this is a big moment in time."

Really looking forward to him revealing everything to Lois.

Oh... oh, snap! Snap and a half! But... but will it stick?? Will it stay? Or will her mind be muddled and the reveal not keep after her Isis ordeal?

I really hope he tells her and it sticks... that'd be really, really exciting.

Yeah, I don't know if it will stick. Clark knowing she already knows isn't in the official description of the next two episodes after this one.

yea i am sure they will have her known he told her. why paddle around it for too long. plus if we go by events of 200th episode. He tells her some time soon from the present time of 200th episode.

I do think they missed out on a great opportunity there. Lois also mentioned in the future about how it was such a romantic moment and I can't see them topping the barn scene for romance either.

They can. If Lois and Clark float again, but this time are both aware of it.

Really looking forward to him revealing everything to Lois.

I am suprised the show is not making a bigger deal out of him telling her the secret. I would have put that in the promo at the end of homecoming. In general I think(other then Pete) Clark telling somebody the secret has been treated as an afterthought

Yes. I want a good amount of time spent with him telling her everything.

Can't recall how much Clark told her on the phone as the Blur.

Lana took all the alien stuff calmly. I expect some funny reactions from Lois. I hope she asks some good questions too.

Maybe they intentionally left it out? (That would be surprising, knowing how often they love to fill the episode descriptions with spoilers). Looking at the wording of the descriptions for Harvest and Ambush (the two episodes following Isis), though, I can see how Clark having told her the truth already could figure into the episodes.

In Harvest, Clark is concerned for Lois' safety and diverts her from covering a story on the Vigilante Registration Act. We already know they end up in dire straits and Clark without his powers, and that Lois finds out a lot more about Clark than she thought she knew. This could be a great follow-up to him opening up to her, rocking both Lois' expectations and those of the audience. Clark trusting her with the truth won't necessarily make things easy and hunky-dory. :p

In Ambush, Lois will be torn between her Vigilante Registration Act-supporting father and her love for Clark. Again, this could be another excellent post-reveal episode, further demonstrating the trials and tribulations of being involved (and in-the-know) with a super-powered being.

I can see it working...
