The clip with Supes grabbing the picture on Lois's table, finding out that she's a mommy, is just great, really brilliant!!! I love the way Jimmy comes popping his head in, right behind Clark's shoulder... THAT GOOFEY LOOK ON HIS FACE!!!! Just terriffic! LMFAO!.... Huntington seems to be a great Jimmy, and he's definitly (beside Clark's goofeyness) the comedy relief in this film!!

I dont know if I'm a serious psycho to detail in Routh's acting (hope not!).. But when Clark kind of looks halfway at Jimmy, holding the picture in his hand, saying "Mother???"... I LOVE IT!!! The emotions in his face and eyes are just PERFECT! They scream! "Please dont tell me that I heard you say Lois is a freaken mommy!!!"

But even those 11 clips were edited together people! For example, if the scene where Clark runs off to save the plane is JUST like seen in one of the 11 clips, than it would be waaaaay to fast happening... So I'm telling you, even in these clips, they've let a lot of stuff (from that specific scene) out!

And just think, there's still 2 hours and 21 minutes of footage we haven't seen yet.

Anyone else notice that the sound effect: "WARNING WARNING" from the "unidentified bogie" clip is the same voice when the X-JET was going down in X2:X-MEN UNITED?

It's more that he can't really DO those types of films anymore. He's married, has kids, has grown up from that child-man he once was, and has moved on. He's evolved -- grown as a filmmaker. Heck, I'd wager he'd be the first to admit he couldn't do it anymore.

And where did you read that he only wants to do "dark and serious"? I seriously doubt Spielberg would limit himself to one particular mood.

Well I know he has said that he would have ended Close Encountes differently now as he could never leave his kids it that ever happened to him.

I don`t think these movies you mentioned, especially "Catch me if you can" were classics like his old movies. War of the Worlds was garbage. The ending ruined everything for me. Minority Report was a great movie, i forgot about that. But still, i don`t think he makes those AMAZING movies like in the past. Hopefully Indy IV is going to prove me wrong!

Even though he will be doing Indy IV.

I think Indy is different. Plus they all have an agreement. and Lucas said it will be different from the other ones. But he said he couldnt make anything like ET again. He said in an interview people come up to him all the time and ask him "why don't you make the movies that you used to make?" and he said he has been there done that and is not interested in it anymore.

I think she says: "You know my... Richard, he is a pilot".
Sounds like she wants to say "fiance" or "boyfriend" and wonders what word would be fitting when talking to her "ex-boyfriend"... So she picks the more neutral "Richard".

I might be wrong.

well just stopping by to say progress on the compilation is coming along well enough, with a few setbacks. It's a lot of work, finding all these clips. I should have used a different video editing software because I'd have more control of the aspect ratio, but fudgit, this is good enough... almost done.

I also found a shot of krypton in my old supes files that I forgot about. lol we won't be seeing that on the 27... false advertising!!!
