No regrets. Everything I've done in my life have made me the man I am today.

Liked her, she liked my friends - used me to chill with my friends. When I took a break from our friendship for a while and came back, she was super nice and close with me - she then told me she liked me and got me to dig my feelings back up (which were then stronger), and told me she had just started dating another guy. I figured she'd stop dating him if she was gonna go through that effort to bring this back up - nope. She wanted to keep me as he backup. So I let myself off the hook, met someone a million times better, now I'm getting to know her, and me and the first girl have not talked since.

What’s your biggest geek collectible?
Civil War #2 - First Edition. Mint. I hope it'll be worth something eventually... haha

How close are you to your Persian roots?
More than most would like to admit - actually though, I'm more FOB than my cousins who live IN Iran, and I've never actually BEEN there (because I'm Baha'i, not by choice :P )

What is your favourite Persian dish?
Kabaabeh Vaziri with Maast-o-khiaar, toropcheh, zabzijaat and dough to drink.

Do you try or have you tried to hide your roots ever at school?
Never. Everyone I have ever known through school knows I'm Persian.

What do you know about the ancient Persian empire?
Everything from when the Indo-Aryans settled in the Iranian plateau, the Achaemenids (from even the founding of the tribe until the death of Darius III), the Parthians, Sassanids, the Islamic Invasion, the Moghol Empire's short rule, the Qajar Empire, the Pahalavi Dynasty, Mossadeq, and the 1979 Revolution (with accounts of all sides - including Mojahidin, Khomeini, the French, the Americans, the Pahlavi supporters, the Kurds etc), the rise of the Islamic Republic, the 2009-2010 protests, and how there is an underground movement currently going on to bring a fall upon the current regime.

How do you feel about the current government in Iran?
It's a disgrace to the culture, the people and even their religion. It's a failure overall, and the regime represents a failure to establish order and organization from the beginning.

Do you ever want to go visit?
Yes, once the current regime falls. My country is currently not technically "my country" right now. It's been conquered and in oppression and I am not welcome there. The day I come to Iran, will be the day I will wholeheartedly be accepted by the leaders of the land.

Because I already know English, Farsi and French, and with Spanish in my armada of linguistics, I could travel to MANY conquered lands and understand at least parts of the variations of dialects.

South America - every country.

Europ - All of Western Europe, and then Italy, Greece, Turkey, Cyprus and Macedonia.
