What did you think of Rogue's portrayal in the X-movies? Would you recast her if you could (I don't know if this has been asked yet)?

I did not like it much at all initially.
I hated that in all the years of Rogue being in comics they never revealed her name and within the first 45 minutes of X1 she does. TWICE.

I don't mind that they portrayed the weaker naive Rogue before she became the powerful evil Brotherhood member under Mystique. What I do mind is that she had no accent, no green eyes, and no sass about her. Even weak Rogue has that spitfire sassy vibe, albeit small but it's still there. Paquin played the role with no fire in her. Honestly Paquin's accent as Sookie Stackhouse was better than her Rogues. What's up with that?

And while Paquin is pretty in her own right, I don't think she was the right look for the part. Rogue's supposed to be this untouchable beauty that you can look at but not touch.

I think a recast would be good, although I'm not sure who I'd cast in her place. But she must have green eyes (or contacts), some sass and an accent y'all. Would it kill em to let her say Sugah every now and then too?

Slowly if at all. Ice cream made me sick for yrs when I had problems with my gallblasder so I am not really a fan of it anymore. Ill eat it once or twice a year if that

i'd love to say to our family home in Carolina but i only get to do that a couple times a year.
