Indiana facing some very tough violations by the NCAA here... I hope Kelvin Sampson gets fired. What a stupid coach.

I would just like to say that as B-town native, despite what some ESPN analysts are saying (Wilbon). Hoosiers do not put wins over integrity.

Indiana doesn't seem like that kind of school. The General might have been throwing chairs and cursing players or whatever other antics, but he wasn't risking a school probation either. The stuff is following Sampson and he isn't good enough for a school to simply look the other way. He may be getting the boot.

Bobby Knight may have been a thug in regards to the WAY he coached, but he ran a good and clean program. Sampson may be a more subtle/easier coach, but he's a thug in regards to the Eric Gordon recruiting... that was real slimy of him.

There's an Indiana news conference at 3 EST today on ESPNEWS... rumor is they might fire him. On the eve of their big game tomorrow against Sparty.

MSU was kicking ass to start the game, but decided to take a big s*** on national television once again.

I'm incredibly disappointed, I hope we get out of the top 25.

I know that I'm pretty much the only Memphis fan on here, but this article is a perfect example of how much the University of Memphis' basketball program means to my town. It's one of the few bright spots in Memphis, when there's plenty of things going wrong here.

I didn't write the article though.

I'm sure fans of other teams have stories or articles that show how much their local college's basketball team means to the city they reside in, so if there are some available, post the links to them so we can read 'em while drinking a cold one
