Someone is actually trying to say that HP has made more at the box office than Bond after adjusting for inflation? That makes no sense... it's a fact that Bond beats HP after inflation. It's not even fair to compare them without adjusting.

I see BOND 22 making about $200 million domestically next year. $700 million worldwide isn't out of the question.

I'm actually MORE excited for it because I have no idea what the creatures look like...I've been able to resist ALL spoilers. It's a great feeling.

Comingsoon.net really needs new box office analysts; cloverfields 3 day wont approach 50 million 42-43 is pretty much the limit. It may get 50 for the 4 day but that will be tough.

It made $41m as BOM claims, nice opening considering it's release date (January isn't the best month for such films as Cloverfield)

I also think so. Maybe 3rd, but it's very doubtful. So far it's only serious competitors are Narnia 2 and HP6.

I have feeling for BB TDK will be some kind of what was POTC 2 for POTC, if we talk about box office.

I think TDK will do well but not as well as some people are saying, I'd place it at #4 at most. We've a many films that will do bigger business.

Can't agree with you. BB got very good legs with not so good opening, just like POTC. Yeah, fan base is different, but still I can't see the reason why TDK won't be at least #3, especially if so many people are waiting for it (I base my opinion on the results of numerous web polls (not only on SHH!) and reading posts of other cinema goers in different forums).

Indiana Jones: $290,000,000 (if the film lives up to the previous ones)

hp6 will make a ton of money...its the 6th of 7. its the setup for the final film...it will make tons. there can be some exciting parts...anything with voldemort is good IMO.

Funny that almost no one have Narnia on their lists. I mean, the first one did better than Harry Potter domestically in 2005 and ended up with over $740 million worldwide. My personal feeling is that worldwide Batman, or any other superhero movie this year, won't have a chance against Narnia. And (call me crazy if you like) I have this feeling that Hancock (with the box office power of Will Smith) could end being superhero movie number one. Especially on the international market, maybe worldwide.

I would'nt say that Dragonball needs to be on there cause it honestly won't be that big of a hit just cause of sucha huge dissapointment , now Star Trek already has people that no matter how they complain will show up in droves.

People on these boards like to ignore reality because they don't like someone or something. Narnia 2 will be huge, you can't discount the power of the orignal and I agree with your feeling about Hancock, that movie could be huge, and I think that it does have a good chance of besting TDK, it will easily win overseas because Batman isn't that popular.
