2009 MLB Thread, part 2

The move that should have been made two innings ago

Damn well still keeping faith an amazing run could still happen.

Matsui with another shot to the wall....Godzilla is on fire tonight

Been a nice season, even if the ending sucked.

Wow... Angels beat the Red Sox only to get their asses kicked by NYY and you are happy. Sigh...

And it looks like Matsui really wants to stay with the Yanks. A-Rod should win the MVP though.

Matsui has had a very impressive game so far.. looks like he wants to stay in ny.
But i'm not gonna lie, being a huge yankee fan it would be kinda cool to see matsui go to seattle with ichiro

I'm not a Yankee fan. I don't ***** and moan when my team goes a few years without winning.

Only a dumbass market would throw money at Matsui, unless he is a full time DH which is more of a strain on your team than it is a boon, unless that guy is what Ortiz was to the Sox during his juicing years. That's what irks me to no end, teams overpaying for these veterans that are overthehill after coming out of NY or Boston.

Nice of Howard to wake up when it's looking too late.

well you can get rid of all that mess by getting rid of the DH, which is stupid anyway

How about teams that underpay for veterans that vastly outperform their contract coming out of New York?

I don't know why you continue to deepthroat Abreu when he absolutely **** up the joint in October. He is a LOSING player. I get that you need that production to make the playoffs, but your division is terrible. Wake me up when someone decides to spend money in that division or actually holds onto their chips in the farm system. Besides, how did those clowns in Oakland pan out for Billy Beane? Not that they cost a lot of money but still...

This WS was just as crappy as the ones the recent ones. Other than Game 1 the pitching was crappy. The hitting was on-and-off. Only difference is it took 6 games to finally end.

I'm probably not going to post again tonight in this thread since it'll just be frontrunning fans posting "YANKEES WIN!!!"
