It's too bad Warner decides to retire instead of returning to his second year of a two-year deal with Cardinals. This will significantly impact the Cards and with the improving 49ers and (possibly) Seahawks, they may not even win the NFC West next year. Warner will definitely be inducted to the HOF one day.

Warner's a class act, on top of a damn good QB. I've enjoyed watching him play.

Still can't believe this guy went from stocking shelves to the Arena League and, eventually, Canton.

The time for Leinart is now.... NOT!!! Seriously how many games does he get before the rookie they bring in gets in there? I hope Leinart can turn it around to bring some credibility back to that overhyped draft class. I'd give him eight games. If I am 4-4 and I lose a couple of games primarily due to his poor play I'd pull the plug. Unless the rest of the conference stinks and they are still in the hunt for a decent seed.

Sad to see Warner go, but at least (unless one other player we all know) he seems to be at peace with it and is looking forward to life after football. Glad his career had such a great resurgence towards the end (although as a Steelers fan, I'm glad he didn't win the Super Bowl last year t.

Leinart isn't bad, he has all the tools necessary to be a Pro QB. The thing he lacks is focus. I don't know if the time under Warner has changed that, I just remember him playing terribly those games Kurt Warner was hurt in.

Guys like Mike Mayock and Todd McShay say his elongated throwing motion/slow release allow CB's at this level to jump routes regularly.

Leinart isn't awful, all he needs is focus and concentration. For the Cards sake, they hope he's Aaron Rodgers.
