AJC reporting on the $$$ for Gonzalez..

In addition to the second-round draft pick the Falcons sent the Kansas City Chiefs, they accepted his contract, which gives him a chance to earn $14.25 million over the next three seasons.

And now their gonna curse two players at once.:csad: Bastards. :cmad:

It's worse for Arizona since they probably think they will be able to make another run for SB next season, but if the curse is real and it stuck Fitzgerald, they can kiss that dream goodbye. :o

Ray Lewis - injured the season after on his appearance on the Madden cover

Marshall Faulk - broken leg after appearing on cover

Michael Vick - leg injury after appearing on cover

Shaun Alexander - foot injury after appearing on cover

How can anyone not believe in the curse??

So, guess what just popped up on ESPN's bottomline?

NFL considering Super Bowl in London.

How does one NOT believe in the Madden curse? Vince Young was nasty his rookie year.

Vince Young is now officially a benchwarmer whos' mommy fights his battles for him.....Kerry Collins **** on him last season and rightly so....the most overrated QB in recent memory

Vince sucked in his 2nd season, the year after he was on the cover.

It must be responsible for his mental breakdown as well.

I thought you were being sarcastic originally

Vince sucked in his 2nd season, the year after he was on the cover.

He wasn't necessarily great his first season either.

  • "Substantive conversations" about bringing the Super Bowl to London. :down
  • Cardinals reduce trade demands for Boldin to 2nd round pick and other considerations. :sleepy:
  • Broncos interested in trading up to draft Mark Sanchez, but McDaniels doesn't want to get into top 5. :ikyn
  • Jason Campbell will throw a hissyfit and request a trade if Washington drafts a QB. :waa: :whatever:
  • The Hammer is pursuing the possibility of a rookie salary cap.

If Phily can get Boldin for a 2nd rounder or 2 and DOESNT...McNabb should just pack up and leave.

The smileys make this post happen.

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell revealed a proposal Friday that will would eliminate two pre-season games and add one or two more to the regular season schedule.

"We have not found a saturation point for pro football," boasted Goodell, "I don't want to be around if we do." A mid-February Super Bowl could conflict with the Dayton 500, the NBA All-Star game, and some years the Winter Olympics. The big game trumps them all in America.

I suppose getting them to drop 2 preseason games, and leave the regular season where it is, is asking for too much.

I just want the damn Super Bowl to be played in January again.

Super Bowl in London= Fail!

You have got to be kidding me.

:hehe:

Madden Curse.

Now Polamalu and Fitzgerald will both come down with a nasty case of Turf Toe this season.

Apparently Denver has said that they will stay put with their 12th pick.

I can understand why the NFL would want to take the Super Bowl to London, but it's still an Epic Fail waiting to happen.

The schedule is expanded enough as it is Goodel. The NFL's making enough money as it is and adding two more regular season games that will require players to go all out just further shortens their careers and further risks serious injury.

What's with all the news about Crabtree's stock falling? At least that's what I've heard from ESPN regarding his team visits.
