Apparently Denver has said that they will stay put with their 12th pick.

I can understand why the NFL would want to take the Super Bowl to London, but it's still an Epic Fail waiting to happen.

The schedule is expanded enough as it is Goodel. The NFL's making enough money as it is and adding two more regular season games that will require players to go all out just further shortens their careers and further risks serious injury.

What's with all the news about Crabtree's stock falling? At least that's what I've heard from ESPN regarding his team visits.

He's shown up late for almost every meeting teams have set up and he travels with his "entourage" almost everywhere....

Oh god noooooooo...Troy's hair is going to fall out now:csad::csad:

Anyone remember failed First Round Offensive Lineman Mike Williams? He's back in the league, signing with Washington, who also signed P Hunter Smith.

Ya know something. That right there would make me as a player say, if you want that, I want my contract guaranteed, not just the signing bonus.

I mean adding two games won't bring that much more revenue. The pre-season is when the teams control who gets to show the home games in their market, so they can sell it off the the highest bidder. Also the tickets are the same price as a regular season game and the season ticket holders have to pay for them aleady. This better serves the gambling establishment.

That's actually one of the reasons Goodel wants to increase the regular season, because fans have to pay full price for preseason tickets and season ticket holders have to pay for the preseason. I can see his reasoning, since a sold out stadium would bring more revenue and make the fans happier since it's more meaningful football for them, but for the players, their average playing career could be shortened by as much as two or three years AND increases their chances for devastating injuries. Who knows, with the more revenue which would let the owners pay the players more, they might agree to it.

Well with Gene Upshaw gone I think the players will fight harder for more concessions. But if I was a player rep I would fight for guaranteed contracts. besides they already sell out the preseaons games. The fams just don't wanna see some guy from a DIII college trying to make the roster at the 8 minute mark of the 1st quarter in a preseason game.

Yea...I believe in the Madden curse

Actually the Madden kurse only affected Offensive players...Ray Lewis just got hurt that year. Troy will be fine. As for Larry :csad:

So, guess what just popped up on ESPN's bottomline?

NFL considering Super Bowl in London.

:woot:... wait serious...:cmad:

I love how everybody was all 'The Hammer this and the Hammer that' he's the man, woo, woo, woo. Mista don't play.
EFF Rodger Goddell, the greedy bastard. Do like we want and cut 2 preseason games- Dammitt I kinda miss 'Tags.

Or why don't you bring the gdamn 'Yule Bowl' or whatever the hell they play there for a fake superbowl, with a cheese wheel instead of a football, here to the states...that aint gone happen cause jus like the London plan IT'S STUPID. Why risk cross atlantic travel jus so you can expand the brand...ahole you ended my Rhein Fire' team, love those guys. For what to bring it back in pieces.

They usually only put offensive players on the cover of Madden....and Goodell has disspelled that rumor as of last night....He said the NFL has never considered London for a Super Bowl....

In prime time'ish this year.

Your Indianapolis COLTS don't pick til late.
I wonder how late the broadcast will run into the night due to the later start.

Adam Schefter is awesome... Why the hell is he leaving the NFL Channel? Or will he be doing both?

He is still under contract with NFL Network till August and he's been MIA from the channel since early this year...when his contract runs out he is expected to sign with ESPN

Apparently he is going to be the heir apparent to Chris Mortensen....word is going around that ESPN is going to trim the fat on their NFL personnel before the season starts...

Good, they will probably cut their NFL personnel down to half a million.

KC gave Cassel 36 million guarenteed.

wow, fist year out too. But no tony g right? When do they play the Pats.

the new 49er unis look nice.

nice mix of the throwback and few new changes. love the "new" helmet most of all though.
