I am not sure with who I want to win in the Raiders & Jets game. Part of me wants the Jets to win to avenge the Eagles but part of me wants the Raiders to win so that the Jets will be moody for a while with losing to the team known as the Raiders which could screw up their game with the Dolphins lol

Looks like a giant waste of money. So that things going to be right off the highway in the middle of an empty patch of land? Might as well construct a theme park out there while you are at it. Then again, that thing looks like a theme park as it is. No wonder taxpayers want Arnold to shove it.

Spotlights and fire works aside, I think it looks pretty cool.

God knows the NFL and media would have a field day if facilities like that ever open in in LA.

I have a number of World's Fair, Bastille Day and Carnival jokes to make, but I can't stop snickering at that thing long enough to properly compose them.

California is barely hanging on (in terms of budget) and now they expect the taxpayers to pay for that....looks like Walt Disney World and the new Dallas stadium had a ******ed baby

Actually, the taxpayers won't be paying for the new stadium; according to the Majestic rep, it will be privately funded, but the owner of Majestic would like to have a stake in the team coming over here in exchange for the new stadium. Sounds like a good trade-off.

I mean it takes 6 hours to get from NY to CA and probably the same to go from NY to London. What if a CA team had to face a team from London? That's 12 hours.

NFL will be crazy to put a team in Europe; it not only won't get enough support over there, but teams will have to travel there which will be a schedule nightmare. I know Goodell is obsessed about it but quite frankly, NFL is doing fine in America, and they don't need to take such a risk.

Now, this is perfectly logical reasoning to be against an NFL team in Europe. Rather than the jingoistic drivel "keep the NFL in America"

Seriously. The Hammer needs to ditch this Euro-love. Especially in regard to the Super Bowl..America's crown jewel of sports....played in London. Right :whatever:

you don't see us over here demanding Premiereship games....you keep your sports, we'll keep ours

I don't know what your hearing over your side of the Pond but no ones demanding NFL over here. Sure it selling tickets but there no British public demanding we have games or teams over here by a long shoot.
