If I were starting a franchise, I'd pick Aaron Rodgers first.

I have no idea why Ray Lewis is putting the offense under the bus...each phases of the game struggle at certain points. Its the job of the defense to step up...you cannot allow the Steelers to convert that many passes so quickly, oh and 3&19 2 minutes to go.

The Falcons were the biggest frauds in the NFL. It only took 17 games for it to finally show. There's nothing championship caliber about this team, especially on defense. How they won the games they won this year, I'll never know. But that loss to the Saints back on MNF was the dagger. A true championship team, on a national stage, at home, against a rival, would've never lost that game.
Any given sunday.
The Falcons were the best team on the field 13 times this year, they just werent when it counted.

Wow, way to squander your challenges Tomlin. Such a mediocre coach riding the coattails of the great one who came before him.

Wah

Cowhers been gone a while now. Had nothing to do with guys like mendenhall, wallace, and a slew of others becoming what theyve become.

mt is no bc, but give credit wheres its due. MT is a top 10 coach.

It's nice to see that I'm 2 for 2 today (picked Steelers and Packers). I hope I'll be 2 for 2 again tomorrow.

Those were two awesome games today. One nail biter, one blowout... condolences to fans of the teams that lost. Still, a great day to be a football fan and it would be a shame if there is no season next year. I really hope they will work the CBA out.

Really?!? We've had one upset (well, two depending how you felt about the Eagles).

Yeah...didnt think Seattle would win or Philly would lose
Thought the Colts would beat the Jets
Thought the Ravens would beat the Steelers
Thought Atl was gonna beat GB

This is what I dont understand...I am watching Sportcenter.....The Jets have been talking **** all week.....Welker's press conference jabs at Ryan and the Jets take that as crossing the line??????

Oh I cannot wait til the Pats beat them back to their old uniforms

Add in Mark Pouncey and you've named the three players Tomlin drafted and developed. Do you know what they have in common? They are all early round draft picks. Cowher's magic was that he could turn a late round or undrafted pick into a super star. Farrior was a 4th rounder, same with Foote. Aaron Smith and Willie Colon also 4th rounders. Brett Kiesel a 7th rounder. Harrison was undrafted.

Cowher was able to do this kind of stuff. Tomlin has not proven he can. He has won with a team that is still 85 % Bill Cowher's. Until he proves that he can rebuild as guys like Smith, Harrison, Colon, Kiesel, Foote, Ward, etc continue to age, his status will not truly be known. Therefore to call him a top ten coach at this point is laughable. He, alongside Jim Caldwell, is the luckiest coach in the NFL.

It becomes especially laughable when you see his ****** track record for in game and off the field decisions. He has no control over his locker room and is content to let his team turn into divas and thugs (and we all see how well that works out for teams like Cincinatti and Dallas). Some call it being a 'player's coach.' I call it being a *****. He is scared of his staff. He fails to make necessary personnel decisions such as taking away play calling privledges from a failed offensive coordinator or firing that coordinator (even after the coordinator basically tried to lead a locker room coup against him towards the end of last season, bad mouthing him to the press and players). In fact, his 'big changes,' following six straight embarrassing losses to teams like Oakland and Cleveland consisted of firing a second string special teams player and his special teams coordinator. Plus his in game decisions are laughable and riddled with bad decisions (such as his squandering of challenges yesterday).

Tomlin is an absolutely mediocre coach and time will prove that.
