The Miami Dolphins today announced that General Manager Jeff Ireland has signed a multi-year contract extension
They are pretty much the laughing stock of the NFL now with their horrible management & front office. Al Davis & the Raiders must be proud
My picks for tomorrow.
Bears
Steelers
The weak secondary of Pittsburgh combined with the amazing offensive line of New York (who can shut down the rush), leads me to lean towards New York.
Finally, the day has arrived! I hope after beating Colts and Pats, the Jets will not want to see their season end prematurely and find the will & determination to win today's game against Steelers.
and on the flip side, the right side of Pitts O line has had health issues all season...I think they are on their 2nd or 3rd right tackle this season
Yep. Factor in that Ben holds the ball way too long, Bruce Arians favors the pass to a fault, and the fact that the Jets have the most underrated linebackers in the game, and I can see it being a long day for Rapistberger. The Jets' weak point is their D-line (aside from Ellis). The best thing that the Steelers could do is RUN THE BALL. But to Arians that is a foreign concept.
I think in order for Jets to win, they must be able to run the ball well, which will be tough against Steelers' DL. However, Jets' OL is playing lights out right now, and if they can win at the line of scrimmage it'll allow Sanchez to throw against Steelers' secondary, which aside from Troy Palomaru is rather suspect. Steelers on the other hand, will probably try not to throw deep balls (and exposed to Revis and Jets' DBs), and take a chance against their DL. Sanchez must play even better in this game than he was against the Pats if Jets want to advance to their first SB in 40 years, though.
