Maybe because they were talking about his dunk on Sunday just as much before Blake threw down? Two of the best dunks of the year in 2 nights, of course he'll bring up his while shouting out to Blake. :whatever:

Then let someone else brag about it, don't brag on yourself. That's like saying I have the biggest &*#% in the world. I know it, you know it, why state the obvious. :whatever:

So Kobe is scoring alot in the first qaurter then the stat came up that he is 90 something away from catching shaq on the all time scoring list. I think we may see a offensive whirlwind for the next week or so.

Or he'll just go for 90 in one game then die....then play the rest of the season. :o

I can see Kobe going for 50 in a game this week in a losing effort. :o

Sixers cannibalized the Bulls. :o

Them injures finally caught up to em.

Last 5 or so games have been rather crappy. Dengs still got another week or two and Rip, well, that dude ain't never been healthy.

Yeah, but the Sixers have injuries too. Both their starting and backup centers are injured

They've been playing Tony Battie (whom I believe is 68 years old) and a 6'9" rookie at center the past 5 games or so.

Yeah, but they aren't missing two of their 3 top scorers.

Stop making excuses, it's not like your team lost to the Bucks again.

Bulls are really starting to struggle without Deng and Rip. Unfortunately, I don't know if either will be 100 percent the rest of the season.

Personally, I think Bulls may need another star to help Rose as he cannot do it all by himself. However, it'd be hard for them to trade for someone like Dwight Howard since they don't have alot of tradeable assets, and purging their team for one star (like what Knicks did to get Melo) may actually hurt them in the long run.

Before his injuries, Spencer Hawes was arguably playing the best of anybody on the team.

Plus the center position is always either the first or second most important position on the team.

If the Lakers lost Bynum, everyone would be predicting them to tank. The Sixers are still winning.

In the past, Lakers did not tank when Bynum was out with injury because they had Lamar Odom. But this season, if Bynum goes down, Lakers will undoubtedly suffer a much bigger setback as they only have Gasol as a backup, and he'd have to move from his natural position as PF to play in a role that he hasn't always been very comfortable in.

It doesn't help that he's made entirely out of twigs and flotsam...

Yes, I'm aware. Thank you.

My point is simply that the Center position is generally essential to putting together a good basketball team. So having your center injured is always a pretty big setback.

I agree, same problem as last year, need someone to take some pressure off Rose.

If Howard would commit to signing long term with the Bulls, I'd trade anyone not named Rose.

It's like they've become bipolar when a marquee name isn't on the matchup. Not to fear though, Joel Pryzbilla may be coming to save the day!

Actually, if he's healthy, he'd definitely be useful.

The Vanilla Gorilla?!:wow::wow::wow::wow:

Sixers inquired about Amare...

If I am the knicks we need to get back a Jrue Holliday or Evan Turner in that deal

He'd probably be well worth an Evan Turner, as the Sixers are already guard-heavy.

I'd just be concerned about his defense and whether he could play as unselfishly as he would need to to work in the Sixers offense.

And I don't think he could. Personally I've always called Amare overrated, and the Sixers have great chemistry, defense & athleticism. They may need one more piece to put them over the top but Amare is most certainly not it.

I would agree.

I think them adding that piece is going to be tricky though. Because what they really need is just one guy who can, when everyone is is slumping, just take the ball and score.

But for the rest of the time, play totally unselfishly and work within their standard system. That's kind of a hard hybrid to find.
