The refs are absolute horse**** in this Heat game...****ing joke, and now their path to the finals just turned into a cupcake.

Rose officially with a TORN ACL and now Shumpert probably done.

Knicks are cursed in the playoffs with injuries...Cannot ever get a regular lineup out there

I don't understand what happened with the refs. As a Heat fan I'm happy they won but it's so odd. The game was really physical in the 1st and it seemed like they were going to let them play hard playoff basketball. Then all of a sudden anytime a Heat player was sneezed on there was a whistle. I'm not going to sit here and say the Heat didn't....overreact to certain fouls but it's in the refs hands.

In a way....this could be a blessing in disguise. He wasn't IMO going to survive very long playing the way he was. Now, he'll be forced to add some new weapons to his game and become more of facilitator you expect at his position. He'll lose some quickness but he should still be fine in that regard. Just needs to focus on rehabbing and getting stronger.

It won't be a blessing in disguise for the Bulls this postseason though. No way they're winning a championship without D Rose.

Short term, yes that's a problem. Long term though? I can see this working out to their benefit.

Maybe he could add to his game in certain other areas, but he'll still lose some of his explosiveness and athletic ability that made him such a special player. Knee injuries took Penny Hardaway's career in the 90's.

Medical science has evolved so much since then though. Guys not named Oden come back from knee injuries all the time. Sure he'll lose some quickness but he'll come back stronger. As long as it doesn't become a recurring injury.

Or if you guys want I'll take the pessimistic route:

Pffft. Dude is done. He might as well retire. He will never comeback to be the dominant player he was.

Now you're talking like a Miami fan.

Now you're talking like a Miami fan.

A real Miami fan would actually say this.

"Playoffs? They started already? Oh we're in them? Got to get myself to the Triple A then. Mom, dust off my Wade jersey."

Real NBA fan, Real Miami Heat fan, real talk! I'm glad you said what you said because no real fan wants their team to win the way they did today, tainted. It's possible the way the Heat was playing, they would have won but.......don't get me started. Anyway, I went to the park to play basketball and EVERYONE was pissed about the game, even Heat fans. I want to see what my man Stephen A. Smith and Skip Bayless say about this on Monday.

Started checking the scores after a movie here on my phone, and holy crap! Rose out with a torn acl!?! And Shumpert!? Damn, that's crazy. Shumpert's a rookie too right? First playoff game, wow.

I'm picking Dallas over OKC in an upset series.

Funny enough, I follow Skip on Twitter and he didn't comment on it at all!

I just don't know how lebron survived such a brutal hit

Threw a little Blake on it after the contact.

I think he hurt himself actually....in the act of flopping.

If that's a flagrant, they would have thrown KG out of the league years ago. :funny:

I mean, Lebron will get the brunt of the hate on this (and he should get some hate) but come on refs. A flagrant? Lastsunrise is creating a new account as I type I hope.

Completely ******ed the calls...30-5 free throws or something too
