I wouldn't put Bynum in Howard's class yet. Why you ask? Contract year! Players always do best when that happens. For the first time in his career, he has played healthy most of the season, which really hasn't happened before. He's good but not sure how good he'll be next year once he signs a new contract.

I noticed with the poll up top since Rose went down 4 more people jumped on the Heat bandwagon.:whatever:

Which bandwagon should they jump on? I mean, the Bulls are done. And the poll is, who will win it, not who do you want to win it. Name a more obvious choice.

I voted late so mine probably doesn't count. Pffft. And technically speaking, there's no bandwagon for voting on who you think will win a championship. Haters gon' hate.

Nice win by the Lakers today. Bynum's 10 blocks (and tying the playoff record) is great, but I also want to see consistency in his play. Consistency (along with injury) are what separate him from Dwight Howard. He could be an elite player if he shows up every game and put up amazing stat.

So who is still buying the Celtics hype? They're gonna lose Rondo for a game or two

Rondo might have just blown their chances, but if they get past the Hawks they should be fine.

Also predicting a Lakers/Memphis conference final.

Judging by the replay, I think he might avoid a suspension on this one. He'll probably end up with a hefty fine.

Wasn't sure if I wanted to post the video 'cause I feel really bad about Derrick Rose but it was very ironic. The day Rose went down I went to see Titanic in IMAX 3D (don't make fun, it was great) and I came across a video parody of the injury as I was looking at Derrick Rose videos on Youtube with cuts of Jack Dawson crying out to Rose "Rose!? What are you doing!?"

Never want to come off as a troll so I won't post it. Felt a little bad about laughing at it, but it was a pretty funny video.

Really hope Lebron never wins a ring in his lifetime.

But that is unrealistic. He is going to. I actually want the Heat to win it this year. Let's face it....Mickey Arison and Pat Riley bought a championship the day that they signed LeBron and Bosh. Eventually they'll get that ring together. I just hope that they do it this year and it is the only one that they get....because then there will always be the asterisk of the shortened season next to their championship. ;)

Every time Griffin is on the screen, the audience is informed of how many dunks he has had for breakfast.

But it's not an official stat. He's not gonna win an award at the end of the season for most dunks. Or even best in game dunk. So, you know, it's just something for the fans and those who like to keep track of such things.

I totally forgot there was a lockout when the playoffs started yesterday. But maybe that's just me, but also probably a whole lot of other people too. :hehe:

Is there an award for most blocks? For FT%, most 3pters made, etc? Are there any actual awards other then the scoring title?

I don't think a lot of people looking back will even care. One can argue a shortened season made it harder for them to win a ring.

Nope, which probably means that doesn't matter either. :p

Look at it this way, only thing that really matters is whats in the box score. Are dunks in the box score? No. Then it doesn't matter.

They may bring up how the road to the finals for the Heat was cupcake easy with Knicks losing Lin and Shumpert, Rose with a ACL, Celtics losing out to the Hawks, No Dwight, and who knows by the time we get to the finals Durant or someone else gets suspended for excessive celebrating

More games can completely change the seeds. And that will warrant an asterisk which people will see.

Well that's kind of my point. With a complete season, Heat could've finished 1st or they could've fallen lower. It really doesn't matter in the end because the best teams made it in....well except for the Knicks.:o

Come on now. Come on.:o
