Good start offensively and defensively for the clips

Your Clips are surprising me, I gave them no chance against Memphis. Although that came with one caveat, a healthy Randolph, and its clear to me he's still trying to fit back in. Can't take anything away from LA though, their doing what they should.

I don't know why people didn't give us a chance against the grizz. We beat them three out of four now. We match up well against them. I think it was just young nerves that hit us in the first half last game

Probably because the Clips suck. :o Seriously, Gay/Zach are like Melo/Stat west. They play better when the other is out.

Maybe either Gay or Zack will punch a fire extinguisher after this game so the other player can carry the team by himself. :yay:

Offensivelywe weregood but needto do a betterjob defensively. Anyways no way Memphis wins in la

Caron Butler hopes he will be able to return during the Clippers' first round series against Memphis.

Butler sustained a broken hand in Game 1 and the original diagnosis was that he would miss four to six weeks.

"I haven't done anything with a basketball yet, but I do know that I injured it early in the third quarter and I still was able to play and be effective," Butler said. "I just knew something was wrong and I knew something wasn't feeling right. I'll go see the specialist tomorrow and see what they come up with."

Butler will see a hand specialist on Thursday.

I have the up most respect for tough juice, but I don't know how much harm he would do not only to himself but the team.

It's not unreasonable to expect Butler could be back. I broke my hand the same way (4th metacarpal instead of 5th) and I was back pretty quickly, and I didn't even do therapy or anything. Just a cast for a little bit. Plus Butler's break is on the pinky finger, which is pretty unimportant in shooting.

Christ, the Knicks look like crap already offensively. Davis is doing what he needs to, pushing the ball up the floor but nobody is pushing with him.

LeBron in foul trouble in the 3rd with 4 fouls, Knicks need to take advantage if he's gonna sit the rest of the quarter.

I ain't even mad...Knicks are done

Poor offense
Pathetic team passing
Amare is a ****ing idiot
Shumpert and Lin are hurt

wrap it up...See you in 2012-13

It's all over now. It would be nice to see at least one lousy win in the playoffs. There's going to be a lot of new faces next year. Baron, Bibby, Novak and Fields will all be gone I'm sure.

I don't know what the hell was going on for most of the first quarters, but I like what was happening in the last 18 minutes or so.

Lin is not a very good PG...his passes are late, doesn't shoot very well, and over penetrate, plus his defense is suspect. He's all hype....Knick going nowhere with him at the starting point. He needs to come off the bench. Knicks needs a starting point....Lin's not it.

He's the best PG they have, and like him or not he was the key in that 7 game winning streak, and since he's a rookie he will improve his game. Besides, in a team with two stars commanding 18 mil a year, do you really think they can go out and get an elite PG like D-Will?

Amare, too if anyone will take him. He'll go before Melo thats for sure. I wish NYK could get Josh Smith I think he'd fit real well with Melo and Chandler

Eh, he's a rookie with a lot to learn. All of that stuff you mentioned can be fixed with the exception of his shooting. He def isn't a scoring PG but he does have a decent shot.

The front office is in love with him so he's not going anywhere for at least the next 2 years. I do wonder if they can trade him to a team that hasn't used their Amnesty clause yet?

I would think they could trade him to a team that has 2 bad contracts they want to unload then the team could use the Amnesty on Stat. It depends a lot on the players coming the Knicks way. Believe it or not, there's a LOT of NBA teams that have not used the Amnesty yet.

You can only use the Amnesty on players who were on your roster at the start of this season. That means, three more years and 66M of Amar'e and his uninsurable knees are all NY's, unless they can find a sucker taker.

This!! I like Lin but he has a lot to learn and I can't believe people wanted to hand the franchise to him over Melo. If I could, I'd throw Lin in a package with Stat for Howard......though I know it would never happen.
