Either tradition (since it's always been 2-3-2 in the Finals), or because Stern wants to save on flights... :oldrazz:

Heat reaction to Baron Davis freak injury...Is Lebron cringing or laughing?

Cringing with a mouthguard.

If these Bulls don't do it tonight.....bye bye. It's like they're cursed...with suck.

I knew it would be tough without Rose. I just didn't expect the Bulls to go down this pitifully.

Oh well ... They'll be back in two years.

That pretty stupid...Why is that the case?

Because the Finals are east coast/west coast matchups and teams have to fly through 2 or 3 time zones. In the conf bracket they don't. It's mostly to make the media covering the Finals happy.

I'm half expecting Jeremy Lin to make a pro wrestling like return in the middle of the third quarter of game five. :o

Good God Almighty! That's Jeremy Lin's music! :wow:

I hope he does play. A ball dominant, turnover prone guard, coming off an injury that's laid him up for 5 weeks, against the most (sometimes needlessly) aggressive, ball-attacking defense in the league... who just happened to hand him his ass earlier this year? I'll take it. Better that than another outing of watching Carmelo go one-on-one against Battier all ****ing night.

I doubt he's able to go though.

LOL remember when they said Norris Cole was going to be great?...Yeah me neither. :woot:

I forget. Was that before or after you had higher hopes for the Knicks this year than being fortunate to win a single game in the first round of the playoffs?

Stop sounding bitter over a loss...You should hold that anger for when you lose the series to the Celtics or Thunder/Spurs.

It's gonna happen. LeChoke will live on J.

But Poe, that joke only works if someone said that Norris Cole was going to be great. Nobody has said that. So the joke fails. It's not even a Knicks/Heat fan thing. It's a bad joke thing. I expect better from you man. :csad:

If it happens it happens. Unfortunately, we'll be bitterly disappointed if it does. We just don't strive to win one game. If only we had such lofty standards.:csad:

I brought up Cole, cause that game that 1 game Lin played @ Miami was right before the All Star break and Lin looked bad...He looked worn down and tired. 6th game in 8 nights...Dantoni played him 40 minutes each game.

Cole played like a future star in some games early in the year and in that game he stole the ball and dunked and fell on his ass...After that I had to deal with Heat fans about Norris Cole, the starting pg of the Miami Heat (pfft...Lin?)...Cole, the missing piece. And that Lin was no more.

In fact this is the play :woot:

Little did we know Cole's game crashed that hard right after :o

Im sure after 13 losses or whatever it was winning a game to get the monkey off your back feels good. It broke Baron Davis though...So, I dont know what it is...But this Knicks team is cursed with knee injuries

I think I'm gonna pull for the Thunder or Clippers to win the NBA Title this year.

The Clips are good but I'd put them behind the Lakers, Thunder or Spurs. I don't even think the Lakers will get past the next round. The Spurs and OKC are on a collision course it seems.

The more I watch the Spurs, the scarier they get to me. They are getting play from everybody, they seem like a real deep team. A Spurs/Heat final would be a very, very interesting series. OKC and Miami would be more fun sure but I've got a feeling about the Spurs right now. Not just because they're destroying Utah.

I like Mike Brown as a coach, but I don't think the Lakers have that "push" like they have in years past. So I agree with you about them not getting past the next round.

LeBron getting his shot at the Spurs again in the Finals would be interesting. I hate the fact that the Bulls lost Rose. Would've loved to have seen them in the Finals again.
