Casey Hampton is looking REALLY fat and out of shape. I think that Sapp may be right. What I loved about Bill Cowher is that he could rebuild as he went. Tomlin hasn't shown that he can do that. Now it is at the point where this defense is looking old and slow. Tomlin needs to start making some very unpopular decisions. He needs to cut and replace Smith, Hampton, Farrior, Gay, McFadden, and then on the offensive side of the ball, basically their whole O-line needs rebuilt.

This is what made Cowher brilliant. He used the draft so well to rebuild as they went because the Rooneys do not spend money on free agents. How many older players did Cowher get rid of during his time? There are TONS of them. Tomlin doesn't do that. Cowher's team is aging and Tomlin really hasn't started to rebuild them. This may be it for the current Steelers dynasty as at least half of their team needs rebuilt.

It's the KC defense just as last week was Tampa. Stop drinking the Norm koolaide. He is a good young QB, but let's see how he fares against Green Bay and the likes before we start giving him ridiculous labels. Is the potential there? Sure, but still too soon to say where the potential goes.
