If I were Jim Harbaugh, I'd try to tank harder than Chiefs with the Niners so I can be reunited with my QB from Stanford. Harbaugh should do it unless he really believes Alex Smith is their franchise QB. And Niners aren't going anywhere in the future without an elite player in that position.

I really dont understand the loyalty the cowboys have to romo, he wasnt a high draft pick and there almost scared to draft someone to sit behind him for a season or 2 to eventually take over. Hes been there what 6-7 years now and only has one playoff win, I hate kicking a guy whens he's done but as gifted as he is he is very predictable as a passer. Pressure him just a little bit and watch the mistakes come rolling in. The other problem the Cowboys have is jerry jones himself not getting out of the way.

The chiefs have one big problem and thats todd haley.

The broncos have no clear direction and thanks to mcdaniels there screwed for atleast another 2 years.

The colts were setup to win with peyton and setup to fail without him. It still amazes me in a team sport how one guy makes or breaks a team.

The issue with the Cowboys is and some of the posters here have made this point, right now, Romo is their best option. However, unless they trade up, and unless they have a collapse or huge injuries going on, they won't be high enough to score a QB like Luck.

I like the niners but they still have no direction ethier and Alex smith still being a starting QB in this league is a question mark times 10. I know they drafter kapernick but they need to put him in and see what he can do.

I was really surprised the 49ers went with Alex Smith. They were low enough that they could have snagged a QB during the Draft.

If they were to get a decent QB, they could do some damage with Davis & Gore. They don't have to have some superstar, just look at Campbell & the Raiders.

I thought the only reason why they'd go with Alex Smith is so they can tank and get Luck in the draft, and Smith will be kicked to the curb. However, Niners already won one game and almost won another against Cowboys, so it doesn't seemed like Harbaugh intended to lose big this season. Why begs the question: Why not? Luck may be to Niners what Peyton Manning was to the Colts organization when they drafted him many years ago.

Which one do you guys like better:

Cowboys

Chiefs

Broncos

Colts

There is no way the Broncos take Luck. Colts or Cowboys, maybe.

If the Dolphins continue to suck I wonder if they will ?

I don't think the Fins will be in a position to have the first pick next season but if they were, they would be ridiculous not to.

never say never. Remember fox and elway took over with 3 quarterbacks they didnt hand pick so for now there rolling with orton and if he fails at somepoint this year and tebow gets thrown in and fails and they finish bad enough you never know. I dont think the cowboys have the balls to take Luck, especially with jones in charge, they dont know how to develop one.

Yeah with Jerry calling the shots, logic goes out the window. The Cowboys could lose every game they have left, and they still probably wouldn't take Luck.

If you need Luck or not, the price tag for that pick will be ginormous.

Almost Ricky Williams esque.

Andrew Luck will be next Seasons Tim Tebow. Everyone wanted Tebow. He was the popular Rookie. Next Season Andrew Luck takes that place. How he does in the NFL is the mystery though

21 other teams obviously didn't want Tebow, and Tebow wasn't even Bronco's first pick.

As I recall, Josh McDaniels was the only one who wanted Tebow. If someone else had wanted to grab him in the top ten/fifteen, they would have.

Okay, people were doubtful of tebow...No one doubts Luck's ability.

The guy has the "it" factor. It will take a colossal choke job for him to be a bust

Tebow was popular because he was popular. Luck is actually popular because of his skill.
