Colts owner Jim Irsay on Twitter :whatever:

All u negative,Colt haters.....ahhhh,well...ummm...that's just YOUR opinion...man!

No grown man should be using the word haters.

I know that Philly fans hate to hear it, but Andy Reid needs to be fired. There is no excuse for what happened last night. Yeah, they lost their QB, but they also lost him with a two touchdown lead well into the second half. You're telling me that the "Dream Team," couldn't keep a two TD lead? It all comes down to poor clock management (Reid's usage of time outs is absolutely atrocious), bad play calling and terrible decisions all around (if he challenged the interception, the Eagles would've won that game). Reid is like a high end Marvin Lewis. He does just enough to keep his job but will never bring home the Lombardi.

Blah blah blah.....Cowher took 14 years to win a championship....blah blah blah.....Reid's on 13....blah blah blah... [/Eagles' fan]

Can't believe he's signed through the end of 2013.

I honestly believe that if the Colts keep dragging Kerry Collins out there to start, they will go 0-16. It's amazing how bad this team is without Peyton.

That will indeed be their response, but Cowher's decisions never actively cost his team games. His choices always put his players in the best position to win. Reid costs his team games at least 3 times per season and is guaranteed to do so in the playoffs.

Reid and his team are overrated as always. Yet they still exude all the smugness of the Patriots yet they don't have the trophies to back it up.

:lmao:

Yup, the Eagles should fire one of the best coaches in then game (and replace him with Bill Cowher I assume) because of one game. Brilliant.

(Of course Bill Cowher didn't win his first Super Bowl until after 14 years with the Steelers. Andy Reid just started his 12th season.)

Just comng out of my drunken depression from watching that Bears/Saints game. My goodness, what awful effort by the Bears.

If there's a team with a worst O-line than what the Bears have, I'm not aware of them.

I don't know ... At this point, I'd probably make a swap. Cutler will wind up dead at this pace.

What's really bad for the Bears is the division they play in. There are ways to help hide deficiences in an offensive line - but when you are playing with teams that feature Jared Allen, Suh and Clay Matthews (and two of those teams with potent offenses) that task becomes all the more difficult.

Yeah, if they can't even keep a 2 TD lead (particular since they have one of the best CB out there) even with Vick out then Andy Reid must shoulder the blame. And if Vick can get injured in only the 2nd week of regular season, then I don't see how he can last for the entire 16 games, plus the playoff. Unlike other QB, Vick tends to get hit alot (thanks to their poor OL and his own perference to run), and he's not a big guy. Did Eagles made a mistake giving him a 100-million contract extension?

Peyton was not only their QB, but also their play-caller (he dictates that with audibles) and the player that even their head coach had to defer to. It's not a shock that the whole team goes down when he's not on the field playing.

Like I said, Reid should've called a time out to give the guys upstairs time to look over and then tell him to challenge the interception. Hell, he wouldn't even need to use the time out as it clearly hit the ground, the very first replay showed that. Reid's sole decision to not challenge that cost Philly the game. No interception, no TD. Atlanta loses by 3. Reid's clock management, play calling and decision making are as they have been for the past 12 years: Atrocious.

And this is the problem you have when you build your whole team around one man.

When I saw Vick throwing from the pocket, I figured this was how they were going to keep him healthy. But I want to see how he fairs by the end of the year after going through his division twice.

The problem with keeping Vick in the pocket is, you limit him as a quarterback. He is not, nor will he ever be a great passer. He is a good player because he can run. If the Eagles have to coddle him and keep him from running, they take away his value as a QB and the very thing that they gave him the 100 million dollar contract for. The Eagles now have a choice between not getting what they paid for or taking the risk of breaking what they paid for. It is why giving Vick a 100 million dollar contract was always a bad idea.

I thought part of the reasons why they'd give Vick such a big contract is so they won't have to address the issues surrounding their OL. Eagles have a weak OL but they chose not to improve it, but they chose to upgrade other aspects of their team during the off-season. This is also why they picked up Vince Young as Vick's backup, because both players have a similar playing style.

Maclin had 171 yards yesterday, yet he failed to catch probably the easiest throw on 4th down

Damn Matt, you're always waiting in the wings to kick Vick & Reid in the nads, aren't ya? :D

1st off, the passers.

1. Cowgirls have Romo and I hate them. I bet they wish they had Matt Moore still...

2. Broncos have Tebow and Quinn, end of story. Luck in a John Fox system is not good.

3. Chiefs have Cassel, but I'm guessing he's injured or had a fluke year in NE.

4. Dolphins have the great Henne. A Peyton Manning in the w--lolololol. I'm sorry, just start Moore.

And the winner...

The Colts. Draft him, and after a year or two on bench, Manning becomes the head coach and dictates the camera pan to him calling plays on the sideline. While making popcorn for the team.

With the way the Chiefs are playing and racking up injuries at the key positions, they'll win this hands down.

Oh & ETM, please kill the Matt Moore spam, nobody cares. :o
