Looks like McDaniels' backstage campaigning worked out. If Tebow is the 3rd string, good luck getting playing time. Brady is playing the best football of his career. I hope Tebow actually caved in and is trying to convert to a new position.

Soooo....when I get Madden 25 Imma trade for Tebow and take turns with Tebow and Moore at QB for the Panthers. Why would I do such a crazy thing?

:o because it's a video game, and I shall have fun with a crazy offense and insane D.

Imma trade Cam Newton for a King Ransom as well in the game.

Tebow is a Pat? Aww, ****.

The Jets screwed him? How? The Jets probably thought Tebow had some potential at QB, but then they realized Tim can't throw for ****.

Flew him in on a private jet, throwing him a press conference, the owner of the team publicly praising him all while in the face Sanchez and then left Tebow to deal with the fallout. When the time came to bench Sanchez, they didn't even give him a start. The Jets handled that situation as badly as possible.

You're kidding, right? Cassel is Drew Brees compared to Tim Tebow.

I wasn't comparing the two. I was just saying that Brady has gone down before. It's not impossible that it happens again. And let's not make Cassel into something he's not. At least Tebow won a playoff game.

Nothing comes to mind. He was a back-up. If he was talented enough to play he would have.

Same as above. The Jets totally mismanaged the situation.

Listen, I'm no Tebow mega fan but c'mon....everyone deserves a chance or two in life.

Third-string, which isn't a big deal. The odds of Tebow seeing more than 25 snaps are considerably low.

If he doesn't change positions or play as more of a situational player, then I doubt he'll see a single snap this year. Nor will he make the final 53-man roster.

I want you to truly think about that. The Jets apparently were desperate for a QB and they still stuck with Sanchez for as long as possible (and let the third-stringer start when they benched him). Not once was the team interested in starting Tebow. Why? Because he can't throw. He was that bad. The Jets weren't interested in humiliating Tebow. They wasted money and draft picks for him. They just couldn't believe Tim was that incompetent as a passer. I think both sides got screwed.

Tebow beat an injured and depleted Steelers' defense. That's your coup de grace? Dude, Tebow was only in the playoffs because of that Bronco defense. Even if Brady goes down, it won't be Tebow starting. You used the Cassal example but it's useless. Despite sucking at Kansas City, Matt could thrive in Belichick's system because he had a very good O-Line and a strong run game.

I agree. I don't believe he is even good enough to be a third-string QB.

So when do I get the chance I deserve to be an NFL QB? My throwing skills compare favorably to Tebow's.

Please, I live here and listened to it play out everyday. The owner was saying things like "You can't get enough Tebow" They knew what they were getting into. They brought him in to sell tickets and had no intention of starting him.

No, I was just making a point that starters go down and backups are needed. I wasn't comparing them to begin with. You made the insane comparison of Cassel to Brees.

Any other team, I would call this signing ridiculous. Darth Hoodie can probably make it work. But if he can't, no one can. Tebow will be a lost cause.

Larry Fitzgerald will judge the Miss USA Pageant.

If things don't go well for Arizona this year and Carson Palmer goes back to sucking, Fitz may get frustrated and want out of Arizona to play with an actual NFL QB, not with a bunch of guys who would probably dominate the Arena League but couldn't even throw a lick in the NFL. He'd also want to play for a contender.

He's probably the NFL player I feel the most sorry for. Imagine the numbers he would put if he had Brees, Brady, Flacco, Manning (both of them), RG III, Luck, Wilson, Romo or Rodgers at QB.

Things could get interesting in the desert the upcoming season.

Yes, because Tebowmania is worth the draft picks and money to have him sit. I don't care where you live. The fact is The Jets brought in Tebow but they were incompetent with the offense.

Compared to Tebow, you bet. If you believe Tim will take the second-string position then you're looney. It's that simple.

I don't care how the depth chart ends up. He's getting another opportunity on an NFL roster. Everyone deserves a second chance in life. He's no different.

Most players have to earn an NFL spot. Tebow is different. He deserves it! Good to know.

Yes, as a possible RB/FB or TE. Mallet is a far better passer than Tebow. Let's leave it at that.

The Lord wanted him to have it.
