Also thank you for kicking the Giants into 2 Super Bowls, Lawrence Tynes.

Adam Schefter made an interesting point that the first 3 days of FA, is like shopping at a high end store with no sales or discounts.

It's after that when you can get bargains.

However, teams that are "desperate" are going to be opening their checkbooks and overpaying.

Well in the Ravens defense, doing a "salary dump" after a Super Bowl win if you have to do one is the best time.

So, a fire sale then? Or is it more of 'The Defense is old'? Is this a wise move overall? At this rate the Ravens may be a one and done playoff team in the Wild Card round next season...

Jets failing. Dolphins winning. Do something Panthers?

:o I pre-order Madden 25 today. So in other words, in Franchise mode I will gut the Offense and ST and trade Newton to Miami for Moore. Iw ill win Superbowl. Just gut the o-line. Draft and FA before season in Franchise mode. SO much fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun. I can win with a sub-par team in video games if I can run it. I suck at passing.

1. I am happy that Baltimore is losing players like crazy.
2. Mendenhall is going to Arizona. Awesome.
3. Wes Welker going to Denver?! Holy s***, Welker + Manning = :wow:
4. Miami have been doing work so far. If they do well in the draft this year, they may very well become an actual threat to New England by next season.

Former 49ers S Dashon Goldson agreed to terms on a five-year deal with Tampa Bay. Really. We're sure.

I still see Baltimore prime to take the division. Pittsburgh has lost some players too. Bengals will go as far as Dalton will take them. Cleveland is Cleveland.

Surprised that Arians even knew who Mendenhall was, considering, his play calling was, have Roethlisberger throw it, followed by, have Roethlisberger run around and throw it again.

Not official yet.

Tannehill has weapons but don't see them being a real threat to New England. Like I said, they are easily right behind him but it's by default because the Jets and Bills are not contenders.

Pittsburgh may have lost players, but Baltimore has been gutted. They are now stuck with a way-overpaid, above-average quarterback with only Torrey Smith to throw to, who probably won't be able to produce as much because teams don't have to worry about Anquan Boldin anymore. Plus, they cut their left tackle, and they'll need divine intervention to keep Flacco on his feet if they stick Oher over there again. Not to mention they've lost a ****-load of their difference-makers on defense.

The biggest threat, to me, is Cincinnati. If they can shore up some defensive problems, they'll be a force to be reckoned with.

Oh definitely. I can hope but I doubt Pittsburgh will take it. Players aren't going to fix their problems. They'll be lucky to contend for the Wild Card unless things change. Cleveland has alot of things going for them, but of course, they're Cleveland.

You're right. But the only direction they can go is up. If Tannehill continues to improve and if Mike Wallace actually learns how to catch a ball consistently, they might be something fierce after Brady retires.

I've seen the Ravens and Steelers defensive window closing for years. While Ravens are bleeding players, I haven't been confident in Tomlin's ability to motivate or pick players to supplement the older ones. I almost would call it a draw in the AFC North but I give the edge to the established running game of the Ravens.

Again....Dalton.....

I love hearing this :)

But then it's usually followed up by something like this:

I have a lot of hope in Cincinnati this year. Dalton's shown improvement and he's still a young quarterback. I think he'll get us into the playoffs again but I think next year will be our year. Just a gut feeling.

The receiver core of Denver is godly. Oh and btw, f*** Demaryius Thomas.

:down

Wes Welker lands a two-year, $12 million deal from the Broncos. Demaryius Thomas, Eric Decker, Wes Welker. Have fun, Peyton.

nice deal

John Elway ‏@johnelway
Agreed to terms on a 2-yr deal with Wes Welker. Excited to have Wes join the Broncos. His production & toughness will be a great asset!

John Elway getting in on the trolling

News from earlier today said that the offer to Welker from the Patriots was lower than expected.

I understand that New England aren't the biggest spenders, but damn...Welker deserved his money. Now you gave him to Manning and the next best team in the AFC. No doubt, Brady is going to be pissed.

speaking as a fan of the Ravens I get the feeling that Harbs is finally trying to build ''his'' team, as for all the cuts Im not really worried tbh Pollard while good was a liability in the passing game ( in fact I wouldnt be suprised if they moved Jimmy Smith to that position).

Actually, do the Patriots just have TE's now?

Who do they still have Branch, Edelman and Lloyd?

I love watching a division rival overpay a player.
