It wasn't really the Giants per se. It was one trainer and Jessie Armstead, who thought he was friends with JPP. I guess Armstead was wrong about how close they were lol.

I did not know who went. Thanks for the info. But wouldn't it seem he was trying to avoid telling the Giants in any form? Like he didn't want the info to get back to them?

Also how idiotic is this? Forget the fact that he lost a finger. He knew his contract situation. This was his prime earning chance, and he just needed to play with fireworks?

I agree, he is an idiot. He had a 60M deal on the table from the Giants which conflicting reports say have been pulled by the Giants. So I'm not sure what was the dumber move, blowing up his hand or not signing the contract when he had the chance.

One other thing is for sure, whomever leaked that screenshot of his medical chart to Adam Schefter is going to get fired. Hospitals do not f**k around when it comes to HIPAA violations. They can lose accreditation's, face lawsuits and all sorts of headaches for that. I'm not sure how it affects Schefter for posting it, being a member of the press and all....

On the HIPAA violations. Considering how the news hit, I doubt it. This was probably leaked by his own people. Too uniformal, too clean.

I get him not signing the $60m deal. He thought he could get more, and maybe he was right. But then you need to be careful, and he was the exact opposite. I doubt he was holding a sparkler when this happened.

This isn't some small clean injury where he just lost the tip of one finger. His hand is pretty mangled up. I don't see how he's playing anytime soon. Adam Schefter is a clueless buffoon.

20 bucks says Gettleman will offer JPP [Greg Hardy's] contract if New York let's him walk (doubt it). He loves those pass rushers. Plus, Dave was a big reason why JPP was drafted by The Giants.

I give JPP 3-4 months before he's even ready to start physical drills at best.
