^LOL. The 49ers trade an awesome punter for a 7th round draft pick TWO years from now.

:down

Levi's demanded it after he kept reminding them of their failed "Buddy Lee" ad campaign.

Well, at least it was nice to see my team return to a former glory years look under Harbaugh...

4-12, here we come...

:csad:

Devin Funchess is looking real good (from slot to tight end to being a #1 on the outside).

If he ends up living up to the OTA hype, he'll have a Benjamin-esque rookie season too. Cam might finally have a one-two punch. Get ready Seattle! Let's see your secondary handle two athletic 6'5, 235-245 lb receivers with Greg Olsen going down the middle.

OH MY GOD!!! I have never been THIS frustrated at Football season NOT being here. Typically the season ends and I'm sad but think little of it until mid summer. This year I've not been able to stop thinking about it. I followed the Draft and all talk leading up to it. Followed free agency. Am following all info every day that's given. I'm even excited about the pre-season for the first time in my life. I've been watching and loving Football since 2006 but I think I'm finally becoming a year-round kinda of fan. I might even try watching college this year. :)

Just watch Draft Day everyday and enjoy the film despite it being about Cleveland. Or laugh at the idea of the Cleveland Browns being that interesting.

:o

Eagles release G Evan Mathis.

I knew that contract situation was getting testy, but didn't see that coming. Still very good, but coming off over a half a season missed due to injury. Offers will be interesting, given that a lot of teams have allocated money for season already.

Thomas Davis has received his extension (2 years; 18 million). He's earned every cent as the best 4-3 OLB in the NFL. At 33, Davis knows the end is near but his level of play continues to be elite despite suffering three ACL tears on the same knee. He doesn't run a 4.4 like he use to but he still manages to shutdown guys like Jimmy Graham on Sundays and perform a Windmill Dunk at the local Y. Thomas is a freak. Now that he and Kuechly are acknowledged as the best LB core in the league, Davis is no longer underrated. As a result, the new found fame has gotten his story and charitable works (won Man of the Year) recognized by mainstream media too. Unlike the Steve Smith fiasco, Davis will retire a Panther, and likely find an immediate job with the organization like Sam Mills before him.

The real question is, where is Matt Moore's $500 million deal?

This should be news on the major news outlets. This is an awesome deed.

It won't. Anything Panther related is usually negative. For example, today a Cam Newton Vine (regarding deflate gate) and a piece on Cam visiting several victim families of the Charleston shootings hit the Web.

Guess which one ESPN, NBC Sports, SB Nation, Bleacher Report, CBS Sports, PFT, NFL Network, etc decided to report on? :hehe:

Whatever. I'm proud to be a Panther fan. We got a high character QB and a classy owner.

yep and Melvin White is a very good friend of my cousin. They went to school together and she helped him get with his lady

Local media trying to drum up a QB controversy between Andy Dalton and AJ McCarron.

:whatever:

Marvin Lewis will get a contract extension as a result of this controversy.
Mike Brown: "So Marv. AJ's looked pretty good in OTA's right?"
Marvin Lewis: *Barney Rubble Laugh* "Well he's done some good things. Andy's still our guy though."
Mike Brown: "Well, Marvin. Pressure to win is pretty high right now amongst the fan base. I'm thinking we only have six, maybe seven, years to see what Andy has before we have no choice but to move on."
Marvin Lewis: "Probably closer to nine."
Mike Brown: "Right. And it's crucial that we maintain some sense of continuity in the event that we have to transition quarterbacks in 2024."
Marvin Lewis: "Let's say 2030."
Mike Brown: "Exactly. So what do you say we go ahead and give you that 15 year extension."
Marvin Lewis: "It's all part of my thirty-year plan, Mr. Brown. And that's a good thing."

I don't hate Russell Wilson but, man, he's full of it if he thinks he can get 22m a year. The Seahawks are gonna have to pay him.
