Loving the moves this offseason by the mad genius. Will miss shady, but he wasn't the perfect fit for "the system". He danced too much and chip wants a straight up north-south runner. With Mathews and Murray... He got 2!!! Maclin wanted too much money and he is originally from KC so I get him leaving. Regarding foles- He was never going to be Chips guy and with former heisman winner and ROY Bradford running a similar system to his college days - it's a solid fit. I really hope Bradford will bounce back and have a great year under chips system if he can stay healthy. If chip can grab a solid WR who is a legit deep threat(maybe Cecil shorts) - I think we will be in good shape this year. the defensive signings all look good.

In chip I trust. Because... We haven't won squat with what we've had so let's shake it up and get fresh blood in here.

@CharlesRobinson
Contrary to reports, tight end Jordan Cameron will be signing with #Dolphins - not #Browns. Contract details are being finalized right now.
Nice reversal, though I'm a little concerned with Cameron's concussion history. Hopefully, that's kept at bay. Also, Cameron Wake removed much of the stink associated with the prior malady that had Cameron in his name, so this is worth a go.

Supposedly, we're trying to keep Charles Clay too. This Mike Tannenbaum is swinging hard like he has a plan. Doing something to remove that Jeff Ireland stench.

It sounds like you're delusional. Chip Kelly is mad alright -- madly insane. He just acquired three of the most injury prone players in the NFL.

Chip is about to learn a very valuable lesson. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Except it was broke. The end of last season was a mini disaster.

Here's the thing though, Mariota is the less athletic version of RG3. Why on Earth would The Redskins take another mobile QB? If the Redskins are aiming for a QB, they have to find a way to draft Winston.

That kind of sensible logic doesn't apply to our organization, though.

As far as I'm concerned, Scot McCloughan is a yes-man for Snyder until I'm proven otherwise.

I've given the benefit of the doubt to our upper management too many times.

Man, management has been a massive reason why you guys have been bottom feeders for years. That RG3 trade is a prime example of what never to do as an Owner and/or General Manager. They'll be writing thesis papers for decades over this.

I hate saying this but Dan Snyder dying may be the only way The Redskins ever escape NFL purgatory.

You really can't blame fans like me who are fed up at all. Snyder has tried just about every trick in the bag, and that's why I don't even care if a new GM comes in until we see results on the field.

The college coach? Check (Steve Spurrier)
The underdog? Check (Jim Zorn)
The legend? Check (Joe Gibbs)
The SB winning coach trying to make a comeback? Check (Mike Shanahan)

Last year they were advertising Gruden as the players' best friend who will "understand" young guys like RGIII, and look what happened. They made us believe that Shanahan was in charge as a GM, but there have been countless reports of Snyder having private meetings with RGIII.

If it weren't for all these reports and the fiasco in the media last year, I guarantee you we would not have a new GM right now.

Trent Richardson is gone.

According to ESPN, the Eagles have now signed 10 former Oregon players this offseason.

its a very good deal, but the contract is that of a committee back and not a workhorse back I still expect them to draft a rb within the first 2 rounds.

I heard both Dwayne Bowe and Stevie Johnson were released today the team certainly needs some big wr for Flacco to throw to.

yeah with all the picks we have this year, i totally expect a RB to get picked.

I used to be a Bowe fan, but he really let me down the last year or 2. i've never really gotten to see Stevie play much so I don't really have an opinion on him.
I kinda had hoped we'd get Andre Johnson. I know he's older, but he's a big boy and i like him as a player for what he does for kids off the field, so i'm happy for him in Indy too. Indy got scary this year.

and it looks like Tyrod is going to buffalo

Dude - every NFL player is a hit away from being "injury-prone". Bradford's knee is something that he can definitely recover from. Shady has a repaired torn knee, maclin has a twice repaired a torn knee, foles missed most of last year with a broken collarbone... so your injury prone comment is non-sense. Chip is a guy who sees potential and guys who fit HIS system. i like that thinking.... At least if he goes down, he will go down with players who he believed could win him a super bowl and not players who didn't believe in his system.

Hahaha, sorry, I couldn't resist. I have to admit, landing DeMarco Murray was a shocker, and if Murray, Mathews and Sproles can stay healthy, that's a lethal backfield. But Bradford at QB? I can't believe Kelly seriously wants to start the season with him under center, no matter what he says. The only thing I can't figure out then is, why make the trade at all? If you want to trade up to get Mariota, isn't Foles a better bargaining chip than a guy coming of back-to-back-to-back injury-plagued seasons with the worst contract in NFL history?

Yea, Bradford is a head scratcher. But Bradford did recruit Murray so i can't consider it a total loss. Bradford ran a very similar offense so that to me is a factor for bringing him in... but for THAT much money? I don't know....

I do know that Foles wasn't going to win us a Super Bowl with this offense. Chip was never high on him. But i do think that a healthy Bradford is an upgrade over a healthy Foles.

It's possible but... is there such a thing as a healthy Bradford? I thought that was one of those fictional internet creations like Glenderman.

That article is amazing. LOL!

Hopefully Chip and his voodoo magic skills can heal Bradford using the same technique used by this great medicine man:

Are you serious?

- Mathews is a bust because he has NEVER been healthy. I've watched his entire career at San Diego. He was the Chargers' version of Darren McFadden. Kelly just wasted money here.

- Murray finally played a full season last year. I don't care how you slice it. That's still not comforting. DeMarco has been on the injury list every week for either a shoulder, or ankle, or toe, or knee, or wrist, or etc. There's a reason why the Cowboys let the league's leading rusher walk away.

- Bradford is bad fortune personified. If you thought Foles wasn't going to take you to the promise land then cool, but if you believe Sam will... :lmao:

In a two year span, you guys have lost McCoy, Jackson, Maclin, Foles, etc. It will (and it already did) catch up to Chip. Team chemistry is a real thing, especially at the QB position. Sam Bradford is coming from a West Coast system that featured Tavon Austin and Zac Stacey, and he still couldn't get them involved. So not only have you guys lost your only vertical threats but you've lost the only guy who could deliver a throw beyond 15 yards. Good luck with that.

The "This is the NFL, anybody can get injured" excuse is just that. The fact remains, The Philly Ducks acquired three very unreliable players.

Darren McFadden is signing with the Dallas Cowboys.

It'll be interesting to see if their line can protect him, and give him more space than Oakland's (which failed him his entire tenure). If so, he could be deadly in that offense. They just better hope he hasn't declined too much.

He gets too much blame. Juan Castillo is to blame for that entire season being a bust.

Why they thought it was a good idea to take an offensive coordinator, and make him a defensive coordinator, I'll never know.
