Hey, at least you guys aren't The Raiders. That's not saying much but... you know...

And besides, franchises like yours, Jacksonville, Oakland, Washington DC, Tampa Bay, etc keeps us fans in check. Whenever we think we got it bad, we turn to you guys for a dose of reality.

It could always be worse. :funny:

...is that supposed to make me feel better? YOU'RE NOT HELPING, DOOMSDAY!!

:D :D

Just messing, I couldn't have been a Browns fan this long without knowing how to roll with thw punches lol. All the more I get to laugh at people when my team beats theirs! :P

No, literally, it could be worse. You could be an Eagles fan right now. From Napoleon Dynamite to Tebowmania and Butt Fumble. :lmao:

*shivers*

It's good to see you have a sense of humor about this. That said, your defense is quietly getting near elite status (along with Buffalo). Cleveland just needs to find a way to develop a QB and presto! Granted, it's easier said than done but something has to change for The Browns. To go through that many QBs in the last decade is outrageous.

What do

Tim Couch
Ty Detmer
Doug Pederson
Kelly Holcomb
Jeff Garcia
Luke Mccown
Trent Dilfer
Charlie Frye
Derek Anderson
Brady Quinn
Ken Dorsey
Bruce Gradkowski
Jake Delhomme
Seneca Wallace
Colt McCoy
Thad Lewis
Brandon Weeden
Jason Campbell
Brian Hoyer
Conner Shaw
Johnny Manziel

all have in common? They've all been starting quarterbacks in Cleveland since 1999.

I made a draft thread, by the way.

All drafted by the Browns & have their careers die in Cleveland.

I mean when you can potentially start both McCown brothers you've gotta be doing something right..

That list sucks so much because I rooted for everyone one of those guys to be successful. But I also hate when people bring up that list because none of those guys are even mid level talent QBs no matter where they played. It's all just been mostly a case of thw Browns can't find the right guy.

I hope the 49ers can dump Alex Boone & Ahmmad Brooks for some late draft picks.

The Wells Report (DeflateGate) was released today. BOOM! :jd:

Probably and probable? It's good they were so thorough with this complete joke of an issue.

All that just to tell us, "yeah, they probably did it". :lmao:

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the NFL is considering discipline for Tom Brady as a result of "DeflateGate."
The Ted Wells Report painting an ugly picture for Brady and equipment personnel Jim McNally and John Jastremski, who are also facing discipline from the league. Meanwhile, it appears coach Bill Belichick and owner Robert Kraft will skate free. It's possible Brady will be watching the Week 1 opener on his couch with LeGarrette Blount, who was suspended two games earlier this offseason.

Additional evidence of Brady‟s awareness includes a material increase in the frequency of telephone and text communications between Brady and Jastremski shortly after suspicions of ball tampering became public on January 19. After not communicating by telephone or text message for more than six months (based on data retrieved from Jastremski‟s cell phone), Brady and Jastremski spoke by telephone at least twice on January 19 (calls lasting a total of 25 minutes and 2 seconds), twice on January 20 (calls lasting a total of 9 minutes and 55 seconds) and twice on January 21 (calls lasting a total of 20 minutes and 52 seconds) before Jastremski surrendered his cell phone to the Patriots later that day for forensic imaging. These calls included conversations relatively early during the mornings of January 19 (7:26 a.m. for 13 minutes and 4 seconds), January 20 (8:22 a.m. for 6 minutes and 21 seconds) and January 21 (7:38 a.m. for 13 minutes and 47 seconds). Brady also took the unprecedented step of inviting Jastremski to the QB room (essentially Brady‟s office) in Gillette Stadium on January 19 for the first and only time that Jastremski can recall during his twenty-year career with the Patriots, and Brady sent Jastremski text messages seemingly designed to calm Jastremski (“You good Jonny boy?”; “You doing good?”). For his part, Jastremski sent Brady text messages confirming that he was okay (“Still nervous; so far so good though”) and cautioning Brady about questioning (“FYI...Dave will be picking your brain later about it. He‟s not accusing me, or anyone...trying to get to bottom of it. He knows it‟s unrealistic you did it yourself...”).

More stuff coming out, and Brady looks horrible. Tom Brady is a cheater and a liar. It is official. Wow, didn't think they'd actually get him.

One of there star QB's caught cheating. Just a reflection of that
Organization under bills tenure.

I don't want some token suspension. It needs to be a real one. He did this crap repeatedly and then lied through his teeth. He should have never played in the Super Bowl.

As a massive Brady fan I am a tad disheartened but it's pretty ****ing stupid to think Brady wouldn't contact the guy after all this **** even if he hadn't talked to him in 6 months. End of the day I honestly don't think this had any effect on the game and furthermore I think this is a common practice but since it's the Patriots it's under the microscope.

I met Eli Manning, a few weeks ago and had him finally sign a football that had most of the 2011 Super Bowl winning team on it. It was a little deflated and I apologized for it and I said , Hey, I heard some QBs like it that way."

Why do it if you aren't looking for some sort of an advantage? That is what the defenders fail to answer.

Honestly i don't know why, maybe thats how Brady liked it. It honestly doesnt bother me either way because if it made it easier for him to grip or a reciever to grip wouldn't a corner back have an easier time grabbing it too? I just feel like the PSI issue is a double edged sword. We know the Game Balls were good for the SB and thats what matters.

Spygate stuff years ago was one thing. This is so stupid, deflated damn footballs. It'll be nonstop until the beginning of the season.

It is not hard to understand. He has a better grip, he has more control over where the ball goes. Why are you acting like this is complicated?

I didnt once say that it was complicated just that if it helped him or the receiver wouldn't it help the opponent too? How on earth is that me making it complicated?

Well it helps the receiver because Brady would have an easier time putting it where only the receiver can get it. Again, it is not complicated.
