Niners expected to fire Balke and Kelly

The Chip Kelly experiment in the NFL is over with. He'll probably take a year off of coaching and then head back to the college ranks in 2018.

As for the 49ers, I think they should look at Mike Smith. He did very well in his first 5 seasons in Atlanta. He helped draft one of the best offensive duos in football (Ryan/Jones). The 49ers have the most draft selections in the 17 draft. I think Smith could come in and turn things around.

Tom Savage starting for the Texans. I wonder if his nickname is Macho Man?

Actually it looks like only Balke is getting fired right now...Chip meets with Jed this afternoon

I want to see one more season with Kelly as coach to be honest. He technically has a few excuses to plead his case.

I dont think it really matters if Kelly got another season, I think most teams have managed to crack his offense.

To think the Browns will trade away Myles Garrett in a couple of years from now.

I really don't know how the Browns can justify keeping Hue Jackson, if they decide to. There is something to be said about consistency and letting a new coach have a few seasons to build a team, but 1-15 is an absolute embarrassment. And its not like this is a team that has shown signs of improvement. They haven't. They are worse now than when the season started. Hell, look no further than that collapse in overtime. For a professional team to go from first and goal with two yards to go to fourth and goal with 25ish yards to go, WITH NO PENALTIES....it is the type of thing that could only happen to Cleveland. Jackson has continued a long line of embarrassment for the Browns. I see no reason to keep him.

Couple of big games right now: KC vs SD and Oak vs Den

KC wins and Oak loses: KC wins the west

Oak win or Kc loses: Oak wins the west.

one gets bye...the other goes on the road to play Houston

I don't think they planned on firing Hue,no matter what the record was, however they might change their mind tomorrow (Black Monday) when they see how many HC get fired tomorrow, they probably will think its best to try and nab one of them instead.

Denver knocks out Raiders Qb Mat McGloin

I hope Irsay drives your team further into the ground.

And I hope the Ghost of Al Davis haunts your dreams
Oh, I am sure there are contract extensions for our horrible coaches and execs.

As to the Ghost of All Davis. Seems he is still haunting the Raiders. :sly:

Oakland hopes and dreams of the season went up in flames when Carr got hurt. THey might beat Houston but I just don't see them going into NE or KC to beat the Chiefs or Patroits.

Due to the Steelers inevitable tendency to play down to the level of their competition and lose to grossly inferior teams, Oakland will beat the Steelers should they play.
