^ I don't think it opens the door for any more shows. There is no other action series that has the following of 24. 24 has a massive following and nothing in the genere can compete with it. Again if Bond is up there Bauer should be. Bond & 24 fit in the genre of action heroes and have achieved a level (even without superpowers) to deserve there own forum.

I think the TV sub-forum would be perfect.

they have the upcoming and past graphic novels
five seasons on DVD
a PS2 video game
a handful of novels
DVD board game
and plenty of other merchandise.


Non-North Americans could have their own threads.
I would wager it would have more traffic than the Heroes forum.

The season has 20 more episodes in the next 18 weeks. Plus the UK is a couple weeks behind.

One thread sucks. Each week there are so many things going on and millions of people are watching it. 24 is arguably the best series in the action genre on TV in the past 10 years +.

Today's episode alone has so many topics to discuss that deserve there own thread. We can have polls as far as who we think is gonna turn out bad or support Bauer, etc...

Drop my bias??? It's not my bias that makes it so popular. It's the popularity of the character that drives me to post this poll. Bauer is a worldwide ICON. Name another original TV series that has a character this popular and this successful...ever. Of course I love the show and I believe you'll find the majority share the same bias...which is the whole point. Who wants one stupid thread with 1,000,000 posts on such a hot topic...when each individual show could have 10+ separate topics of discussion if not more.

No, I hate the Hollywood ****es that butcher remakes that are based on good films.

^ I know what you meant. Just messing with you. But I'd say most remakes are butchered...not all. The Thing was awesome and while technically a sequel of sorts it was really a remake. Aliens too. The Hitcher should never have been remade.
