24 deserves its own forum. Simple enough. I mean, gamers get their own sub-forum, along with Nintendo, Sony, etc.

This is an amazing show, and the Season 6 thread grows bigger every day. I think that if we got a 24 sub-forum, then it would be much nicer and more organized to discuss all the aspects of a show. Also, any older season threads could be resurrected to discuss them again, revisit them.

There are so many people for it, why not? It'll be worth it.

I didn't think James Bond should have a forum at SHH in the first place.

Although Bond has been in comic books, he's not a superhero and doesn't live in a superhero universe (unlike the Punisher or Nick Fury). I just assumed that Bond got added to SHH because of some promotional deal between MGM/UA and ComingSoon. I suspect the same about the Transformers movie, although at least the Transformers were long-time sci-fi comic book characters even if they didn't start that way.

But then again, those are big-budget movies and not mere TV shows.

If enough people want a 24 forum (based on the poll results I guess) then it could just be added to the TV forums I suppose, but it's easier to find hardcore 24 discussions over at TelevisionWithoutPity.com than at a superhero-oriented site.

Plus, there's no reason why Lost shouldn't get its own forum if 24 deserves one.

24 is a bit more inline with the crowd here than Desperate Housewives and Jack Bauer is an individual Icon that is world famous in a similar style to Bond but at the same time kind of the anti-bond. Lost has no such character and never will. It's an interesting series but doesn't fit the profile like Bond and Bauer.

Regarding Bond & Bauer:

They are Heroes that save the World. Bauer is saving the world from terrorists as is Bond.

I think we're all just joking about Desperate Housewives, but I do think that Lost would deserve a forum just as much as 24.

After all there are sci-fi elements, secret organizations and potentially super-powered people in Lost, as well as an actual shout-out to superhero comics in the first episode.

Lost doesn't really have a world saving hero or someone that would be considered an ICON or HERO. Sure someone on the Island is always saving someone elses life but it's not the same as saving them for a living.

Plus, I'm not being negative, there are tons of 24 related message boards that would do him much more justice and satisfaction than any one thread here will do. Its just a suggestion.
