It'll be interesting to see how that time jump works in a show that's never done that before. Hopefully it doesn't feel too disjointed and different from regular 24 episodes.

They've actually done an un-official time jump at the end of season 5; when Jack went to answer the phone, he's kidnapped by the chinese and mere minutes later has been beaten to pulp, and is aboard a ship that's already miles out to sea.

I just found out that the time jump will occur at the last episode, as it will cover the remaining 12 hours from 10pm - 11am.

They should have done the one hour per episode and make all 24 episodes.

I mentioned the time jump to my mom, and she gave me the nastiest look ever , and started asking me how the heck they were going to do that, and that it didnt make sense. I told her not to shoot the messenger, and we'll just have to wait to see how they're doing it. The woman wants her 24 episodes lol.

I find 12 episodes too few, but if the jump works, i guess it will be fine. That's less damn it moments though

As long as when the time jump happens it makes sense. Like say Jack flies back to the U.S. with Heller on Air Force One in the finale & the time jumps during the flight. Something like that would be good time jump reasoning
