The overnight Nielsen ratings have been lower than previous seasons, but overall (that is, including DVR/OnDemand/streaming viewings), it's been Fox's second-highest rated show behind American Idol, apparently.Has anybody been following how 24 had been doing ratings-wise? These season is FANTASTIC. I know it started off as one-off, but man do I hope it comes back for another season.
I've heard [blackout]there is indeed a half-day time jump in the finale[/blackout].So I'm starting to think the time jump everyone talked about is not happening and this season will just be a 12 hour span. Unless they skip half a day for the finale traveling back to the US or something.
What is the torture counter up to this season now?Gotta love Jack Bauer interrogations
24, Strike Back and Nikita have been my go-to action shows for years.![]()
Jack running after the train whilst shouting "CHLOOEE!!" was gold.

I'm disappointed Bauer didn't do a James Bond in Skyfall and slide down the middle barrier of the escalators![]()

Say what?!?! I totally missed him! Must re-watch ASAP.Philip Winchester from Strike Back popped up as a general in this weeks 24 episode![]()
I prefer it that way. A time jump would be jarring and break the format. This is similar to '24: Redemption', that very underrated two hour TV movie that came out before season 7. IMO, the real time aspect is more important than each season or special actually covering a 24 hour time span.
10pm-11am is a time-jump.
And Chang is back! I hope Jack off's him this time after all the torture he inflicted on both Bauer and Audrey.
Yeah, will it be 55minutes of one hour and a 11ish hour time jump for 5 minutes or a slight opening then the time jump for the final "hour"?
I figure it will jump around, as in scenes will take place at different times throughout the 12 hour period.

Holy ****, I just re-watched and that was him! Can't believe I didn't notice before. Weird seeing him as basically a glorified extra with 2 lines...maybe he'll get more focus in the last two eps.Funny thing, Phillip Winchester, who plays Michael Stonebridge in Strike Back, appeared in last nights episode as one of Heller's military staff during one of the scenes after Kate gets the information out of Navarro. I was caught off guard that he was sitting there speaking with an American accent.
