Not for long..Netflix is removing it. Talk about bad timing on their part.

I need to hurry then.....just started watching it for the first time.....midway through s6...Anyone know the exact date it gets pulled?

Bauer is badass, can't wait for this.

When 24 had its original run I was such a fan. I'd cut out images from magazines, glue them on paper as posters along with date/time, etc and stick it to the fridge. I would want to buy his monoculars too. :funny:

I hope this does well and gets another set of episodes greenlit.

Binge rewatching 24 on Season 2 really Kim was fricken stupid at times.

I thought Chloe had a bit of a Goth look in the other trailer and in the latest one it seems she's gone all moody, underground hacker.

Rewatching 24 its interesting to see all these guest stars we know today.

You had Tobin Bell (From the Saw Movies) In Season 2

and now in season 3 you have Zachary Quinto and Tony Todd (Candyman)

There was even Hank Schrader in it and James Horan too :funny:

And lets not forget who played Alexis Drazen...

Some more:
Megalyn Echikunwoke (House of Lies)
Silas Weir Mitchell (Grimm)
Navi Rawat (Numb3rs)
Daniel Dae Kim (Lost, Hawaii Five-0)
Nick Offerman (Parks & Rec)
Max Martini (The Unit, Crisis)
Leighton Meester (Gossip Girl)
Connie Britton (Friday Night Lights, Nashville)
Stana Katic (Castle)
Henry Ian Cusick (Lost)
Kate Mara (House of Cards)
Kal Penn (House)
John Noble (Fringe, Sleepy Hollow)
Harry Lennix (Blacklist)
Warren Kole (The Following)
Robert Carlyle (Once Upon A Time)

I was pretty shocked while doing a rewatch recently that Kate Mara and the guy that plays Hank from Breaking Bad were on 24. What's funny is that when it initially aired I thought Kate Mara and Hank were pretty horrible actors/actresses. I was also wondering if the German undercover agent from season 5 was Desmond from Lost. Guess I was right. So far I've rewatched seasons 1, 2, 5, and 8 and just started season 3 a few weeks ago. Despite a few cheesy moments here and there the series still holds up well.

Oddly enough the biggest issue with the show for me while rewatching it is the 24 episode format for the seasons. There are way too many filler episodes where nothing happens (or really stupid subplots). Another thing that frustrated me when rewatching the series was how many major plot lines (specifically in season 2) could have been resolved rather easily if the characters simply told the truth. Specifically, Kim's subplot with the abusive father where she never bothered mentioning he was abusing his wife and child. I think this miniseries may actually benefit from not using the 24 episode format. It's a cool gimmick but it also lead to some really horrible episodes that could have been cut.

The producers feel the same way as you do. They have suggested that the new format means "less filler content" like Teri's amnesia, Kim's cougar adventures, etc. For me, the show has been encapsulated by a horrific 24 hour period in Jack Bauer's life.

But IIRC, I have rewatched 24 about 4 times since I started watching the show in 7 years ago...Kim DID tell the cops that the abusive father was abusing the wife and child and that's why she took her away.

I just rewatch this. There was no mention by anyone of the father abusing the kid. The doctor found evidence of preexisting abuse. Kim's exact reaction to the doctor mentioning this was "you dont think I did this, do you?" She never bothered responding with just "yes, I know. Her father did it."

True. But we are talking about different time periods. You are talking about right when Jack tells her to leave with her boyfriend Yes, the doctor said that she will let the police figure it out.

I am talking about when she was arrested after the gas station situation where she told police she was a fugitive. Very smart woman.

Then when shes in the police station, she says that she didn't do any of this and the policeman said yes he knows.

I still dont get why she didn't say this from the start. If the cops realized the father was a risk to his child they probably would have placed him under arrest or at the very least not given him access to her room. Could have solved that entire ridiculous story arc but I guess they needed a way to pad the show. That is precisely the reason I think the 12 episode approach is for the best.
