A lot of people on Twitter thinks no silent clock means Heller didn't die, but I think it's pretty clear it's him

Wow. It all happened so fast that for a moment I didn't think it actually happened but...damn. Wow this show has proveb its still got it.

Could it have been possible that

Chloe hacked into their system and made a recording loop of Heller?

Promo pretty much spelled it out

Darkest hour and confirmation president is dead.

It's possible.

If Heller
isn't dead, I have a feeling it won't be until the season finale that secret is revealed

You probably won't find out any time sooner.

Very intense, nothing about the VP yet, you'd think he would have been caught up with the decision the President was about to make. Heller must have felt the country was in good hands after his death?

Heller wrote a letter he gave to Mark for the VP explaining everything

Holy ****. Never expected them to go for it. :(

I unintentionally laughed at Heller's "Yikes!" and then I love how Jack fixed that bleeding hole in Heller's arm with a... bandaid. :hehe:

Navarro's assassin is the WORST assassin EVER. Where did he get that guy? Craigslist?

That was amazing, one of the top 10 episodes for a 9 season running show is pretty remarkable this late in the game.

Sad to see [BLACKOUT]Heller[/BLACKOUT] die, even though s6 ending rubbed me the wrong way with him.

No silent clock though, ballsy...?

Makes you wonder if [blackout]Heller really died because Tony didn't get a Silent clock in Season I want to say 4 or 5 and then he was releaved alive for Season 7[/blackout]

As much as I don't want him dead, it would cheapen the dramatic and wonderful story of this episode.

It did seem weird we didn't get a Jack scream face at the end...

So are they just
eliminating the silent clock this season? Because I'm drawing a blank on how he could have survived that. If anyone deserves the silent clock though, it's him.

While I think they likely did kill him, I also believe they did leave open the possibility for
him to have survived by not clearly showing what exactly Chloe was able to access on the drones and what else was happening with Jack in Wembley.

The more I think about it the more I don't think he's dead. Every major character that has died got a silent clock and the one time they didn't do it (Tony) he turned out to be alive. It is just hard for me to swallow that Edgar and Chapelle deserve a silent clock but the President, who has also been a major recurring character for 4 seasons now doesn't.

I am actually surprised that Mark did not tell Audrey who was with Heller & he essentially covered for Jack

As soon as there was no silent clock, I got the same feeling. With someone with as much history on the show, I don't think they'd let him go out like that without the silent clock treatment.

Also, in all the events going on this week, Jack also got a pardon from Heller. That should really PO the Russians and could make things even more complicated for Mark.

The episode was written by Robert Cochran, who also wrote some of the show's best episodes.

That missile did less damage than the average Wembley NFL game :funny:

Im shocked they went there with [BLACKOUT]heller[/BLACKOUT] but then again this show has proved time and time again that outside of jack no one is safe. Im overall impressed with this season honestly and I thought it started alittle slow but once the characters were established and put in place man did this season take off.

Perhaps there will be a silent clock later in the season when Heller's body is shown being flown to the US.

I hope that this is a fakout. As much as I've been enjoying this season, I wouldn't like this "twist." I just cannot help but think "we just did something like this LAST season." It's too soon.
