This episode of 24 hasn't yet been shown here in Australia - but I was naughty and found out what happens with President Heller.

So, not having seen it yet, could there possibly be a chance that Heller was put in position for the drones to see him - but what it was was really a hologram of him? I am pretty sure the technology exists to be able to do this.

At this point, hacking the cameras, using holograms, just about anything would feel so damn cheesy. It was a wonderful, meaningful death. Probably the best death on the show since Curtis. Why cheapen it?

I was completely expecting Margot to pull the trigger and for nothing to happen as Chloe had blocked her, but nope! The image of the Wembley center circle exploding was just surreal.

I liked the way Mark and Jack worked together and the scene with Audrey and Mark was great, he didn't sell Jack out but Audrey surely must know who was with her father.

I'm wondering if/when the Jordan/Navarro/Cross subplot is going to intersect with the main plot.

Kate made Jack proud again this week.

IMO I believe that using a new President in every series cheapens the plot extremely! I mean, how many POTUSs' has Jack Bauer been around for? I am thinking about ten or so.

That isn't that many considering the show's timeline is roughly 15-20 years... and how many were killed, incapacitated, or impeached. If anything, it shows how bad the teams, etc that revolved around these said Presidents outside of the terrible Logan (who was Nixon x10).

I do not know for sure if Chloe hacked the video feed and did a loop.But the way the episode played out it could be possible.

the question is -who benefits if Heller dies. there always seems to be a conspiracy within a conspiracy on 24.

the vice president gets promoted to president?

other than Charles Logan the vice president to president scenario has not been done.

And Marwan did not kill the president to get Charles Logan president. He killed the president to kill the President.

so this could be because the vp wants to be president or others are worried about Hellers alzheimers(could this be a fake diagnosis). to many hidden plots to 24.

Mark can help Jack fake his death & with the help of Chloe, Sarah come up with evidence for the Russians & Jack goes home. But it was already said this seasons ending wont be a walk into the sunset happy ending
