I'm ok with it but I hate that all of the emotional payoff from the last episode was for nothing.

I'm not all that surprised considering 24's history and the way they edited/cut that scene left them an opening to save Heller. Also, the non-use of a silent clock was also a pretty dead giveaway.

You know something about the way his "Death" was cut seemed...off to me. It seemed too quick and they didn't even cut to Heller right before the missile hit. It seemed pretty clear something was off. I'm actually very ok with this outcome. Everyone around Jack seems to end up dead, its nice to see Jack save someone close to him for a change.
