John Lennon was assasinated on December 8, 1980. He really loved the world and it's a shame today's generation doesn't know a whole lot about him.

Everyone try to keep his message alive.

What are your favorite Lennon songs? His Beatle songs as well can go in here as well.

The girl is mine...oh wait, that was the other one.
R.I.P. John. :csad:

There are way too many songs of his I love, I can't list them all.

Instant Karma
Nobody Told Me
Happy Christmas
I Am the Walrus
Tomorrow Never Knows
Strawberry Fields Forever
Don't Let Me Down

And I'll just stop there. :yay:
i always liked
happy xmas
nobody told me

he was a great musician , and inspiration .
Watching the Wheels

Like it was said, there's too many to mention. He made great ones as a single artist, and as a Beatle.
Great thread. If there is a message anyone has ever had that should be passed along, it should be John's message of love and peace

Like most before me have said, there are far too many to mention them all. Here are some:

You've Got To Hide Your Love Away
The Ballad of John and Yoko
I'm A Loser
Instant Karma
Watching the Wheels
Across the Universe
Man, no wonder I was so happy when I woke up today.
Golden Slumbers
The End
Power to the People
Happy xmas

And so on. I wish I had the opportunity to meet him.
Lets bomb those terrorist bastards!!
so this is xmas and what have you done?
He ruined a perfectly good Christmas song by making it about war. Ponder that one.
I'm pretty sure the message of love and peace existed before John.:o

You mean, he wrote one of the best Christmas songs ever, and it's even better than ever during one of the stupidest military periods in American history?:o
