I haven't read much 616 - especially not Sins Past.

Maybe I'm lucky.

You guys and your fake stories. There's never been a Spider-Man story called "Sin's Past".

Welcome back Knight! Try and stay off probation now lol.

also if UltimateWebHead is reading this i am sorry you lowered you grade. i guess my want for this film to be hated has also left me guilty while doing it. i was hoping with the film being hated sony can make the franchise better and i hope it does get better especially with what's been going on

Don't be sorry. I'm not. It is what it is, but it's certainly upsetting that the film didn't hold up with repeat viewings.

Also, to mirror Airnick--be good and stay off probation.

The mods here are a pain. I also noticed that Levi has been banned as well:) joy to the world :D

You have the wrong attitude. The Hype is what you make of it and you were banned because of your attitude.

The mods are not a pain--rules are there for a reason. I find the mods to be very fair and most are more than fair. They have a job to do but they're people too and fans of the same nerdy stuff.

Treat others as you wish to be treated. There's always gonna be some poster you don't agree with but it's not a good idea imo to take joy in someone's banning. You could very easily be next. Please take this advice to heart. Or not. It's no skin off my nose. Just trying to help you out but I'll say no more on the subject.

Nothing happened.

I like that...

Oh wait, nevermind.

Saw Interstellar today.

It's hard to put into words... Walking out of the theatre after it... It wasn't just a film - it was an experience. Not sure what else to say. The best film of the 2010s (I've seen) so far.

9.0/10.

Well said, UWH

I know I said I would see it last night. I saw it earlier today instead, and all I can say is that it was a blast.

People say it's a long film, which is true. However, it's worth every damn minute of it.

Nolan has added another hit to his career, and I can't wait to see how many awards this film gets. More than just a movie indeed.

9/10

Indeed.

I think people are being hard on it just for the sake of it being as popular as it is. Noting wrong with enjoying something popular.

Funny thing, t's probably the same people who only go see god damn CBMs, too.

I'm looking forward to it. My brother and I have plans to watch Interstellar tomorrow in IMAX. I'm not a "Nolanite", but I sure as hell do enjoy the man's movies.

It's annoying, isn't it?

I tempered my expectations for that reason, but I came away not understanding how anyone wouldn't say it's at least a decent film.

The cast gave the movie quite a lot of hype, but I thought it lived up to it. Some people can't even enjoy good movies anymore.

Same. I'm not a die-hard Nolan fan either by any means, but you have to give credit where it's due.

Definitely be sure to post your feedback here.

Any thoughts on Leto possibly playing Joker? He's a great actor, but he has impossibly large shoes to fill. (hehe, "large shoes", clown humor)

Where did you watch it? I have plans to watch at Tysons.

Yeah, I'm no Nolanite either, but he sure does make some incredible films.

And woah, IMAX.

Jelly.

@W/ Great Power

By the way, did you notice how most of the complaints for Interstellar are for it being unrealistic and not making sense?

Yeaaaah, because it's totally not a sci-fi. And even with that said, it's still one of the more realistic space sci-fis out there, I'd say. I'm guessing the people complaining about said "problems", probably didn't catch 50% of the dialogue.

I'm probably coming off a little dickish rightn now, but for the love of God - Interstellar doesn't deserves the **** it's getting right now.

I may sound like I'm exaggerating, but I'm not.

I was mind blown by this film. For this kind of material to not be appreciated is beyond me, and I feel like it's a shame that movies of such brilliance across the board get lost among light-hearted flicks that people can digest more easily.

I'm pretty big on science and this movie captured a plethora of topics. Even a couple theories, that have yet to be proven, were shown onscreen as most astrophysicists predict their outcomes to be today. I wondered throughout the movie how so much probably had to be taught to some of the actors in order for them to fluidly deliver the dialogue.

With that being said, while it is a Sci-Fi movie, there is nothing that would be blatantly obvious to the general audience as inconsistent to our universe, as is the case with most Sci-Fi films.

Hell, even Smithsonian.com published this article on Thursday:

"Why 'Interstellar' Belongs in the Pantheon of the Best 'Realistic' Science Fiction Films."
http://www.smithsonianmag.com/smith...istic-science-fiction-films-180953261/?no-ist

I understand if you don't like films related to science or covering such topics. But, if this movie fits your niche, I think the hardline criticism it could get is for very minuscule reasons.

I saw the movie yesterday, and also really liked it.

The science was sound. The human component excellent. Some tense moments, and a good score from Zimmer. I am going to see it again.

Brand was the best character. :awesome:

Let me guess, Anne's character?

I'm in the mood of watching all the Star Wars movies again.

Yes, even quite possibly episodes 1 and 2. :o

I've always enjoyed Nolan's movies. He does some great work and I'm looking forward to Interstellar. Probably won't see that until next week though cause I'm gonna see Big Hero 6 in a few days.

Playing Joker in what?

He's a solid actor and was excellent in Dallas Buyer's Club. We've had two very good live-action Jokers thus far in both Nicholson and Ledger and the comparisons will never stop no matter who plays him in the future but I'd like to see the quality performances keep coming. Leto is capable of delivering on that front, imo.
