It's touching and all with you quoting my "Y'all mother****as need Jesus", Miles. Because I may or may not be around here for much longer. The post got me an infraction.

Man, are some of the admins here reaching nowadays. I have one infraction left until I get banned.
How many red cards? How many yellow?
Yellow ones are warnings, they don't add to your "10 infraction and yer out"
Red cards are infractions.

Wha, why?

Damn.

HAave any of your infractions expired yet? They do that, y'know.
Kelly explained a while back that their expiry date does not mean they won't count in ones account banning, it means if you have 2 expired infractions, a third one won't put you on probationary ban.
Expired infractions still count as the infractions you have, they still affect the judgement whether that member will be banned or not.
9 expired infactions + a new one will lead to immediate banning.

Indeed.

Favourite films post 2000? Hm... In no particular order whatsoever:

Interstellar, The Social Network, Blue Valentine, Kick-Ass, Spider-Man 2, No Country for Old Men, The Place Beyond the Pines, The Way Way Back, American Wedding, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, The Tree of Life, Shame, Jarhead, The Amazing Spider-Man, Zodiac, The Dark Knight, 500 Days of Summer, Harry Potter and the PoA, Harry Potter and the DH:P2, Superman Returns (I kinda really really like it), District 9.

The three very best would have to be Brokeback Mountain (10/10), Superbad (9.5/10), and The Place Beyond the Pines (9.0/10).

What are yours?
That's cool.
Most of my favorites are comic book movies. Followed closely by Hunger Games.
And the Prestige, that movie is awesome.

I think I have one infraction as of today.

Cool, yeah The Prestige is pretty good. Weird how noone ever seems to mention it.

It's one of the best movies of the decade imo.
I forgot to add Life of Pi, that's another amazing movie.

I need to watch The Social Network, saw parts of it and liked what I saw.

Haven't seen The Prestige..or Life of Pie....or The Social Network.
I'm fine with that,

The Social Network was a very good film, the first time I saw Jessie Eisenberg in a major role. He did a phenomenal job.

I haven't seen The Prestige.

:highfive:

Because you don't let watching or avoiding certain movies define you.

It's the first thing I saw Eisenberg in.

I haven't seen The Prestige.
If you like magicians art you might enjoy it.

It's the first thing I saw Eisenberg in.

The first time I saw him as an actor was in The Education of Charlie Banks. I think it was an independent film, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. However, it was on TV and I could tell that the guy had talent.

If you like magicians art you might enjoy it.

Just saw the trailer, added it to my list.

Man oh man was Nightcrawler freaking incredible. SpideyK was right about the fact that it makes you feel really uneasy.

Take it slow, don't watch all the movies this month.

Did any one else see the new Zelda stuff for Zelda on the wii u today? Man the game looks great. Next year is looking really great with splatoon, Zelda and star fox for the wii u.

I don't care about any of the modern Nintendo systems.
Nintendo 64 and the Gameboy Advance are where I ended my Nintendo interest.

The Legend of Zelda series is the only reason we usually get the Nintendo systems. Why we got the gamecube and the wii, and we've been better for it (Though I prefer playstation)

Only games I played on the GameCube (at my cousin's) are Super Smash Bros Melee and Super Monkey Ball 2.
I loved the SSBM game.

Amen to this!

Kids today just won't understand the greatness of the "N64" and "GBA." For those of us who grew up on that, it was hard to play some of the more modern titles. But I agree, SSBM on the GameCube kept me in touch with Nintendo.

Remember GoldenEye on the N64? :yay:

I grew up with the GBA and N64, and switching over to the new stuff, such as controls and gameplay and graphics, was pretty easy.

One of the most boring Saturdays I've endured in a while.

I know it's not much, but it's something.

"Stan Lee Hints As Massive Marvel Crossover"
http://comicbook.com/2014/12/07/stan-lee-hints-as-massive-marvel-movie-crossover/

During a Q&A session celebrating 75 years of Marvel Comics, legendary writer and editor Stan Lee said that a film crossing the Spider-Man franchise, the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the Fox properties like X-Men and the Fantastic Four "is something that Marvel is very concerned about," which is being taken by some to be an intimation that Marvel is working on putting such a film together.

They should stick to making animated shorts for their characters.

What does Stan even know? He's not a part of Marvel anymore, really.
