Almost hate them.
Best thing to happen to a symbiote after Spidey dumping it is it being used to make Flash Venom.
First good use of a symbiote.

Symbiotes were fine until they got overexposed and there were waaaay too many of them, honestly. Only ones that matter are Venom, Carnage, and Toxin when he was Patt Mulligan and was actually unique amongst his 'family'.

I played almost every Spider-Man game, Web of Shadows made me hate symbiotes.
Then I read planet of the symbiotes, and more stuff with them.

The original Venom story was great, but between then and Flash getting the symbiote, not much good was done with them.
