Days of Future Past 3 Reasons "Days Of Future Past" Is Actually X4

James deserves another chance as Cyclops, hopefully Singer, Lauren and Fox has something in store for him in the near future.

on other hand, this is what we should enjoy on this sequel, except changing Scott and Beast with Rogue and Kitty

will Singer and crew deliver something like this? answer on 2014 :D

Where did you find that pic it looks really good. I like it.

Well, Singer has always stated (and continues to state) that his favorites are Beast and Xavier. Considering he cast Hoult in First Class, and cast him again Jack, I'd expect a plump role for Beast this go 'round.

I still think there Is possibilty of Xavier using powers to switch minds between
Patrick Stewert and james Mcavoy versions as the time travel.Bryan Singer
has said some of cool things from original comic are In film.

Xavier and Beast will be X-Men with focus In 1973 part of film.Banshee and
Havok will be secondard characters compared to them.

With Bryan directing you will get some focus on Xavier.

I think they look like vampires, particularly Storm.

The art is exceptionally good, but they do look like vampires which does take away from it for me. Not that I've jumped on the 'omg vampires are so last week' bandwagon. I just don't think it fits here.

They all do. Look at the incisors in Wolverine and Storm's mouths. And Storm's skin is the color of wet dough. :down

the point of the pic was to see the x-men together ready for action

but if x-men vampires is a better discussion, fine! :D

Sometimes I wish Matthew Vaughn was still directing this. His X3 had Storm in a prominent position and was much better written

Yeah... and they just had to kill Cyclops, Professor Xavier, and sideline the Dark Phoenix Saga in order to do it. I can't exactly cry foul for them potentially sidelining Storm in Days of Future Past, when they seemingly did that to other characters for Storm in The Last Stand. If that's the kind of writing people expect in order for her to return, then leave her out.

Personally, I don't need Storm to have a meaty role or one as big as in the original storyline. I would, however, like to see her return because I feel the story lends itself to good character moments, as opposed to the Storm who considers closing the school and abandons her former teammates.

I'm the biggest Storm fan here and I can tell you, even I only want her in this film for one purpose: in the battle with the Sentinels. To see her fighting alongside the X-Men and taking down bots would be everything for me. There are so many characters that need development too, so it's fine to share the limelight and let her have a supporting role this go round.

But to not have her in there at all? That's like...offensive to me. :whatever:

That's all I really need, too. I think Storm fighting sentinels in the dystopian future, potentially to the death, fulfills everything I could want from the character. It gives her something to fight for and, similarly, something to protect, whether former students or fellow mutants. It highlights the leader and warrior she can be, and all while providing the spectacle people expect in a movie like this.

Bring on Kerry Washington. ;)

I'll just have a hard time deciding where DOFP will go in chronological order in my blu-ray collection :D.

After First Class and before the Original Trilogy...or after X3.

Time will tell :)

After X3, if the last scene of DOFP is set in the present time.

I doubt Halle Berry costs that much. You guys think she's the Queen when it comes to movie salaries. She hasn't done many high profile movies, in fact she's mainly done indie movies, her first hollywood movie since perfect Stranger will be The Call.

Halle would more than likely come no matter how much they offered her. (she did Movie 43 for like $800) DoFp is practically a guaranteed blockbuster hit and she's going to need one of them to help reignite her career, depending on how well The Call does.

Well Halle Berry is definitely no Julia Roberts. So people who assume that she won't come back because she's a diva or she would be too expensive/demanding just doesn't want her back in this series.

I wonder who will be the leader of the X-Men now Cyclops is dead and Storm isn't in this. I hope they don't go with Wolverine, although he's been front and center in every movie they have never outright made him the leader (though they were bordering on that in X3) Logan doesn't work as a leader.

It will be Wolverine! No doubt and that would make fans really happy! They should just make Storm, the leader of the X-Men.

One of the reasons First Class failed in sales is because the storyline was lacking the franchise's biggest character names. I know a ton of X-Men Fans (including myself and a large number of personal friends) only went to see the film once in theatres out of loyalty. After that it was like, "It was good, but...no Jean/Scott/Storm, etc."

Same here, they liked the movie but questioned the characters who were in the movie.

As long as Rogue, Iceman and Kitty have one or two EPIC action momments, I wont mind if Wolverine is the one giving orders.

I just want to see cool stuff from the younger x-men.

You know when I became super disgusted with the leg-humping, panting fascination FOX has with Wolverine? In X3 when they were in the Danger Room sequence and Storm was trying to teach the kids to work together to take down the Sentinel. And in comes Logan, chopping off the head so no one else gets to play anymore. "Class Dismissed". :whatever::whatever::whatever:

And I was like, "ain't that some s*** true to life?!" Just when Kitty, Rogue, Ice Man or anyone else had a chance to shine, Logan would just walk in...and do everything they were supposed to do, but alone. :o

dont let me remember that danger room scene. I hate everything about that.

didnt like the direction, didnt like the music, didnt like how the characters didnt spoke to each other, specially Rogue and Colossus. and then Logan as the lead character on that session, when it was a session for the YOUNG x-men.

and that end with Rogue, Bobby, Kitty and Colossus just walking not saying a damm word. lord.... what a bad scene to me.

its like they didnt have life. just action figures with... not so much action.

And i have a feeling Wolverine will dominate DoFP too. He'll probably be the one to free the prisoners, take on Sentinels, jump in the time machine, stop the assassination, lead every team, be present in every conversation, take part in every action scene.

Why bother with the other X-Men at all? Why not hand them all back to Marvel and just keep Wolverine?

There's a good reason Avengers made $1.5 billion. Fox needs to wake up and smell the comics!

And you'll notice how the DoFP forum has ten times as much interest (posts) as the forum for The Wolverine. You'd think Fox would get the memo on that.

If Wolverine dominates DoFP at the expense of others, my annoyance will not go unnoticed and unpublished!

No. By giving everyone a good share of screentime. Iron Man certainly didn't lead the team, the orders came from Captain America. And though Iron Man flew into the portal with the nuclear missile, he had to be saved by Hulk.

Hawkeye might have been shoved aside a bit in a brainwash subplot, but the others had moments and Iron Man certainly didn't do everything.

In fact, RDJ initially demanded that the movie focus on him, including the opening sequence, but it didn't work and Whedon's original idea of starting it in another way altogether was implemented. RDJ admitted in an interview he had been wrong in trying to walk over everybody and dominate the film.
