X4-6 Days of Future Past

Now is the time for Fox to start planning ahead and the Days of Future Past would be a great storyline to use - it's huge, it's epic, big budget and because there will be time travelling, the filmmakers have a chance to go back in time and "undo" some of the mistakes of X3 such as killing off Cyclops. It also gives the next trilogy a different direction and look that it needs.

As x-fans, now is the time to start campaigning and be heard! The main problem with X1-3 was a lack of planning. The studio didn't think that X1 would succeed - and the small budget hurt the end result. In X2, they didn't plan ahead by not signing up Singer for X3 and most of the actors. But X4-6 is a great opportunity to sign up one director (maybe Whedon?? if available), a great cast and one set of writers.

Think of the potential here - Sentinels, Bishop, Cable, older Wolverine, Sinister, the Gambit/traitor storyline ...

they could still have Apocalypse within the DOFP storyline as an alternate future. possibilities are limitless.

only think with Apoc is that it is just a little "comicbook-ish" for mainstream fans.

Hellfire Club storyline - problem is that it wouldn't get a PG rating and may offend Christians due to the title. They won't do it - it's too adult.

We don't know yet that it'll be X4-6 of course. No announcement on X4-6 has been made.

It has? I thought X3 was the end of the "x-men series" they'll continue it through younger mutants, like iceman will be leader of the x-men with kitty collosus and others. I was thinking mystique could lead the brotherhood but thats out so maybe juggernaut or multiple man uh hang on how about pyro?

No it was the end of this TRILOGY. You might want to re look up some things. They can if FOX really wanted to continue the Story with the Characters we got & some more
