Why make bruce campbell mysterio? I mean if he never guest-starred in the first 2, it would be okay but now this is just weird.

I just posted this in the other 4th Villain thread, but Bruce Campbell did play Mysterio in the Spider-Man movie in the Ultimate Spider-Man comics.

It was during the Hollywood storyline, but I don't remember the issue number.

I read it and to be honest, I didnt like the idea

I figured I'd just elaborate for those who don't follow the ultimate line.

Come on it, it doesn't have to be verbatim, but have Ock as the 4th villian to kill Captain Stacy, Geesh no one sticks to the source material anymore... Not even the fans. You fans are no different then the hollywood producers, so there is no reason for you to get irate, if it doesn't go your way because if they leave the source material it's on it's way to crapsville, because they have no foundation.

Even though I liked Ock in the last film I can't see how it would make any sense whatsoever to have him pop up and kill Capt. Stacy. Spidey 2 brought in a lot more new non comic fans and having something like that occur out of the blue in the middle of all the other stuff in this film would really throw the new fans off who were brought in by the last film.

Jamming a bunch of villains into one film is what brought down the Batman films.

please there are numerous villians and Doc Ock has been done lets all move on. No need for 4 villians, it sounds fun but really sacrifices story, imagine how long it would take to explain his survival and i dont think they should waste time on that since they have 3 other villians to develop form scratch.

Is it just me or isn't it pretty clear that Sam is messing with us. I think this fourth villain Sam keeps eluding to is "Bad Spidey". I'm sure Peter does some pretty nasty stuff just before he ditches the suit.

I think it's a no brainer.........I would hate to see any of his other villains reduced to a cameo too. I mean really, even Spidey's B-List villains are better than most of the A-List villains for a lot of heroes. Why ruin that with a cameo and clutter the movie with to many villains.

What do you mean move on from Doc ock I just being faithful to the source material and raimi has not been, Harry should have changed to green goblin in the last movie because that was everybody was waiting on. and moved on from him, have him die and have doc ock live, because this story of him being friend at the end of three may be crap, some people were ready to see gg2 in spidey 2, it like the whole franchise is out of order to me!! Just through people in the mix Does someone agree with me, just backwards it all started with green goblin taking mary jane to the bridge, they just should had Gwen and Mary jane in the film, the group of freinds have green goblin and spidey fight throughout the film and him losing regaing his memory and not die just lose his memory.Ock in second film with Captain Stacy it's about Peter falling in love with that family and getting closer to them the Stacys. Captain Stacy dies and Green Goblin has a very important supporting role in Part 2 regain his memory it and take gwen to the bridge and they both die and Harry is gg2 in the Spidey 3. Now maybe Harry could have taken Mary Jane to the bridge and drop reminecent of his father and Spidey catches her showing a good omen that she will live and harry still dies but at end says saying something believeable., when the drugs wear off. But that how it should have went, no scewing up the order of things from the beginning which did not make sense.

its been done, and Doc OCk shouldnt be in 3, not to say maybe in future SM movies. I think 4 the same reason GG2 wasnt in the second but the 3rd, having 2 movies in a row with the same villian. It is like watching the same movie twice when they could instead expand the spiderman franchise.

Unlce Ben's killer would be pretty big and unexpected for the casual movie fan and/or casual Spiderman fan. Plus This is a Super-hero movie, how do we know that guy didn't die from falling. Saying that, I can still see Shocker or a "small" Villain s the "4th" villain. Or "Evil Spidey" after reading the text from the begining of the Teaser.

I suggested this to someone else once, and now I'm suggesting it to you. Do NOT go see this or any other superhero movie. They will not be perfect matches to the comic. And for good reason. Look at how long Spider-Man has been around. You have 44 years of material to work with. If you're going to be 100% faithful to that 44 years, you've got to do it ALL. The lame villians you don't like, the costume changes, the trips into outer space, all of it. And on top of all of that, you'd have to explain why no one ever ages. Since you seem like this is what you want, you make the movie. Good luck.
